Don’t know where to even start. This is an amazing device. It has everything plus more. Great for streaming. Fast response. Also come with the nvidia gaming app that has a lot of games and is great for cloud gaming. You won’t be disappointed. Only bad thing I can find is the remote it’s in a weird shape and can’t sit it straight. But such an amazing device if you’re willing to spend the money for it. Won’t be disappointed.

I like the shield But I think they are overpriced compared to similiar devices and it has a small starage capacity

If your tv isn't smart or you want an extremely powerful device to stream, this is for you. Fast, feature laden and easy to setup and add apps to. Not cheap but worth it.

The AI 4k changes are great for content 720p and above. The remote improvements are also great. Everything else that made the shield tv a great unit are still there: game streaming from a PC, android TV apps, and solid performance on all I've used.

NVIDIA - SHIELD Android TV Pro is amazing, swift, and easy to setup. The remote controller is very nice and easy to navigate, the remote control also has a backlight, and it senses when you pick it up then turns on the light.

Best Streaming Device Out There - PLUS RETRO GAMES

The SHIELD is the best Android TV streaming box on the market. You get 4K streaming, Dolby Atmos, DTS-X surround sound, and 4K Chromecast support. Plus you can use it as a Plex media server to store and stream all your personal media. The SHIELD also can be used as a smart home hub for Google Assistant and/or Alexa. And if all this is not enough, The SHIELD also plays games, including Android games, PC titles, GeForce Now, and Google Stadia. And the best part: you can use the SHIELD to set up your own retro gaming console system, from the Atari 2600, Atari ST, Commodore Amiga, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Neo Geo, Playstation, Sega Dreamast, N64, Gamecube, and Nintendo Wii. The SHIELD commands a premium price, but you get what you pay for.

I got one of these for Christmas, my daughter saw what and how it streams and then she bought one too.I have used Roku, Apple, other AndroidTV boxes, Firestick, this is by far the one. It can almost do anything I need, including games.

A must have if you have a 4k TV. With streaming services having so many titles to choose from there is a surprising lack of 4k content, but this can help fill that gap with its upscaling capability. Not the biggest fan of nvidia as a company, but you just can’t deny that they are the leader in graphics and AI right now. On top of the excellent picture, it’s also just miles beyond everything else performance wise. No more lagging and glitching TV interfaces.

This device is fast. Much quicker than any amazon device. Has a killer find my remote feature that I wish others had. Supports anything you can throw at it. Great selection of android apps. AI enhancement looks great. Just not sure if its $200 good.

Bought for my grandparents who find it very easy to use and when they can’t figure something out they just ask the remote to do it. And the picture quality is amazing along with the transition effect between actions are smoother. Very happy

Shield Pro is the only Plex player I have found to be able to stream (over internet) 4k content with little to no buffering, even when skipping around. The nvidia GeForce experience PC game streaming feature is quite incredible.

Best Android streamer on the market!

After looking for a very long time for a streamer that plays all of the main services in 4K with Atmos and being disappointed time and again after my purchases (Roku doesn't do Dolby Vision at all, Apple TV wont play uTube in 4K or Prime in Dolby Vision or offer Fandango at all and it converts Dolby Digital Plus to PCM losing some performance in the process, Tivo Stream 4K won't play Vudu or Fandango in 4K and plays HDR completely messed up). This unit comes as a breath of fresh air. It plays ALL apps in whatever formats they offer! ALL OF THEM! And the picture quality is the best of all the streamers I've tried too (including 4K bluray players from the likes of Sony and Samsung)! Even the sound is excellent! If you are okay with the Android platform, this is the best streamer on the market!

What can I say... this used to be the best media streamer device you can buy and it was worth every penny. I bought this device specifically for its simplicity and power. I have my own media server at home and it was able to play everything I threw at it at the time. I also enjoyed playing games directly from the device or by using Nvidia Gamestream. Then they added Google Integration and everything went downhill.... -With Google Integration came ads. This began slowing the device down and there is no way to turn this feature off officially. The ads that would appear had absolutely no relevance on what I would watch. Sometimes very inappropriate ads would even display. Not good when you have small children that use the device to watch shows and movies. -Gamestream was retired by Nvidia, and this was another reason I bought the device. I enjoyed being able to stream my games from my PC to the TV, and it had very little impact while gaming. People will say to just use Steam to stream games, but I experienced nothing but lag and glitches when playing games through Steam. -Newer codecs are not supported on the device, like AV1 or HDR10+. Dolby vision is sometimes a hit or miss. -The device is outdated (2019) and there are cheaper alternatives that can do what the Shield Pro does, and so much more. -Constant freezing is now the new norm. Search Shield Pro forums and you will come across numerous users who have this issue. Resetting the Shield to factory defaults fixes the issue until you upgrade the shield (Google Integrations), then the freezing starts all over again. I moved away from the Shield to an AppleTV and could not be happier. I feel like I have control of the device and can configure what content appears in the home screen. If you do not mind the issues that come with the Shield Pro, then by all means go for it, but I would not pay the current price ($199). I would wait for discounts or sales to kick in, but the device is really only worth $99 now. I personally would not buy a media streaming device from Nvidia again.

This device was really easy to set up. I'm no tech wiz, but I was watching an amazon prime movie in less than 20 minutes. This device is definitely fast enough for gamers.
