I use this mostly to watch Netflix, ATT TV (yes you can sideload the app), YouTube, and Plex. I have not had any issues with either version of the Nvidia Shield TV. I do prefer this one for better picture since I have a LG OLED TV and atmos speakers. Amazing setup and I highly recommend it. I'm also a gamer, but prefer PlayStation. However, occasionally I will purchase games on Steam. Now that I have a way to play those away from my PC and get free games also that's great! I haven't played any games with GeForce NOW yet, but am looking forward to giving it a try.

I have the original. This upgrade is similar but the remote is a huge improvement. The upscaling looks nice as well. Worth the price for cord cutters.

very impressed with the unit. build quality was solid and easy to use and set up and the remote is very responsive. the interface is easy to see available apps built in as well as being able to down load from the play store. highly recommend!

Best Dolby Atmos streaming device you can buy,works amazing with my nakamichi 9.2.4 Dolby atmos sound bar and the Navida shield pro tv actually de codes all your new technology sounds like DD,DTS,True digital HD,exc…. I switched from Fire TV 4K which I initially planned to use with my 500gb hard drive and online streaming. I had to buy external device to connect network cable and hard drive which was nothing but pain. I was not able to play media files, and always had connection issues. Just to give you some perspective, I have a 500gb and 1tb drives connected to my nvidia shield2019 and both are working flawless. The UI is very friendly and no issues watching 4k videos on youtube and netflix. I wish the price was a bit cheaper. Then again you get what you pay for.

Say goodbye to my firestick. This thing runs great, fast and outperforms any other tv streaming stick on the market. The price seemed high, but then again i also have 5, 6, or maybe even 7 firesticks in drawers, boxes and older tvs. I can see this device outlasting any firestick, making up for the money in the long-run

The shield is overall good value only complaint is 16gb of internal memory which can easily resolved with a external hard drive

I got this to set up a Plex server and it really works great. Added a external hard drive and it works awesome. Set up was a bit confusing, had to watch a video but after that it was pretty simple

The picture quality is great and the setup was quick and easy. I also like that this device has 16 GB of storage and plenty of extra features

Best streaming device I have ever owned. This fixed all of the lagging and buffering problems I was getting using Roku/Firetv sticks.

Works great in our tv room with our 3D tv, that does not have wifi.
