Best streaming device quality. Period. AI upscaling.

After using fire Tvs of various models for years I became tried of how slow they had become. The shield is fast and generally stable. I have had very few complaints.

The older version pro model had you h features in the device itself. I think they could have done a better job. New remote is good. This device was introduced few years back and by today's standards it is priced high. We purchased it since we do a lot of streaming and it works good for it. Overall recommended however look at other options

Does the job exceptionally well. Picture quality with upscaling is impressive. Form factor is small and easy to hide. Opening the battery compartment for the remote takes a bit to figure out. Press the notch in the back of the remote near the IR end and the rest is easy.

This is my third Shield TV and its the best one so far. I upgraded from my Shield TV (2015) (which still works) for Dolby Atmos support via Netflix. Nvidia has done a great job ensuring the system gets updated regularly and compatible with all the streaming platforms I use (Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, etc).

These machines are some of the best that yuou can buy, they have good power without breaking the bank. Can be used for gaming, and tv watching etc. I would recommend buying the extra gaming controller if you wish to game with it. These are the top boxes, the fire sticks, the other streamers lack this ones power. WORTH the extra money

This is the major improvement over the 2017 model. This does everything. The upscaling is fantastic makes many videos look like 4K. The apps are very quick to respond.Nothing wrong with a fire TV or Roku player but this that's so much more and well worth the extra money

Best streaming device there is! It has lived up to it's hype I use it every day for streaming tv shows and or movies. I also game with it. I love the new remote control design. Still have the 2017 model and it works flawlessly years later. I expect to get the same life out of this model.

OK, so it's a shame that there really isn't much storage within the device (unlike the previous model) but you can add a nice 'n fast USB3 drive to it and the darn thing is silent! 4k really shines on an OLED display and I don't think anyone would be sorry for purchasing one of these media players.

Great little streaming media box. This is the device I have been waiting for a long time. Too bad I didn't purchase it sooner. I like how easy it is to use and how it supports all the major file formats movies are encoded in. My only wish is that the there was a custom menu the user can set. For instance, if you want to activate the screen saver, you have to dig through various levels in the menu. Other than, that, I love this device.

This replaced my Roku Premiere and overall I'm very happy with it. It's pretty obvious that this thing is vastly more powerful (cpu) then most other competing products including my Roku. I play all sorts of games and emulators on it so it's more than watching tv. The interface can be a bit quirky, and I think that's being addressed with some new updates from Google, Google tv or something. As of the time of this writing it's not available.

I love its upscaling capabilities. Very quick. Nice menu system.

The device is fine but it needs a few updates. It's better than most streaming devices. The power cord needs to be type C, it needs a better CPU since android devices overtime degrade more then others. The remote has this issue where you press on the navigation ring you think you are pressing left, right down, or up. But if you are not careful it presses both say right and down. It really needs to be seperate buttons not a circle. The remote does need to be a bit bigger and a rectangle I am not really a fan of that remote shape.

We have finally unplugged from tv service and used a popular streaming device to do so we loved it. Then a friend told me that the Nvidia Shield Pro so I decided to spend the $200.00 and I’m glad I did. It’s brighter faster and the picture is beautiful.

May be the best streaming device available! Sleek, completely automated app setup, amazing video abd sound capabilities! Small enough to fit anywhere and a unique and intuitive remote control operating on Bluetooth. Very impressive package for all those who appreciate quality hardware and software - and silky integration.

This was the best streaming unit hands down. Best Plex support, clean interface, easy to use. Not anymore! They now have ads that depending on how you view the main screen take up 1/4 to 3/4 of the screen. They also won't be for stuff you care about, it's about what they want to heavily promote. It's also so poorly implemented that some have been getting Christmas ads in June. With other options that are cheap, you get the understanding that it's cheap because you are getting ads. This is a premium device and should not have ads. It was sold as an ad free device when I purchased it. You can install a custom launcher and that hides the ads, but that is fairly ridiculous to have to do that in the first place.

Great real easy to use . Get for cord cutters. Has all the apps for tv and gaming
