I've been using it now for about 1 month, love it setup was easy. Unit is very powerful, fast and i can basically watch or play anything on it.

After buying one of these last month I decided to buy another for another room. Hands down the best android box on the market. Zero problems navigating the menus and it loads up services quickly. A+

New nvidia is awesome! The AI enhancement really does make a notable difference,also I have the last gen model as well and this one is quite a bit faster. The remote design is a little different and strange at first, but way more responsive and the fact it takes normal batteries is amazing! Definitely worth the buy

The best streaming device.i love it is the best so far

using ethernet commection with 300 mbos up and down, tried firestick but it was too slow and buffered a lot. switched to Nvidia Shield all those problems dissapeared. Its fast, its got lot of storage and very user friendly

The Invidia Shield is awesome for streaming multiple apps, like Hulu, Netflix, and other apps. Very little buffering issues, it’s all in one and faster than the standard sticks.

A solid upgrade from the original. This is the only Android TV device to get. The new remote is a nice addition and the video upscale is done well. If you have the original there is not enough to new to upgrade but with a history of updates and new features if you are looking for a new Android TV this is a must have.

This was a great purchase. Performed just the way we thought it would. A little confusing on installing and uninstalling apps but we figured it out through the settings. Would definately recommend it

Still rocking my OG Shield from 2016. Moved it to the bedroom and got this for the AI upscaling. Once you're over the price of the new chromecast google tv, this is the only one to buy. Support from Nvidia has been phenomenal. I'm still getting updates and it's relevant 6 years later.

Bought to replace an old 4k Apple TV. Works amazingly, better than the Fire TV Cube that I have in another room. Much more capable, great remote, and smooth fast interface. The quick wake from sleep makes it even better, beating out Roku 4K that I had tried by leaps and bounds.

Still the best streaming device after many years of refinement. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this unit and it's great. I ran it direct to my router. I mainly use it to run streaming app. Everything loads quick with out any buffering. Id recommend it to anyone

Bought this for the gaming potential and it delivers. You can stream games through the GeForce Now service as well as any compatible games in your steam collection at max settings. A cheaper alternative to having a gaming pc with it being reliant on your internet speeds as the crutch.

The memory on this shield is exactly what I needed. I bought it for its streaming capabilities not gaming and it does exactly what I need.

Best streaming box out there. And I have Roku, Fire Cube and Google TV, too. Nvidia Shield Pro leaves all of them in the dust. I have put this box through its paces, and it has passed every test. You get what you paid for. And you can also record your games, too.

I bought this product as my main streaming, chromecasting, game streaming and media device. The Dolby passthrough, usb ports for an SSD, and ethernet availability made it appealing. If you have a 4k device like an apple tv, and you only use it for Netflix and music you are fine, keep that. This shield lets you stream games from pc and play them on your tv wirelessly. It also auto upscales any 720p and 1080p content into 4k automatically, and recognizes HDR content if your TV supports it. the controller and UI works fairly well and is easy to download new software and apps on the google store. I downloaded KODI, so I can play 4k movies from an external SSD; very easy. This device can also output HIFI audio 24bit/192Khz, however does not support MQA from tidal. Regardless sounds great with a good home theater system. Missing a star because the one feature that makes this product stand out; NVidia gamestream and steamlink, do not work to their fullest. I have both my PC and Shield hardwired to gigabit internet and the stream still lags. It would be hard to play a competitive game like call of duty or over watch using this system, but is great for single player games from your couch. overall the only two reasons I can see for purchasing this over any other 4k streamer is the ability to download KODI; to play 4k movies from an SSD. And for gamestream/steamlink which currently doesnt work that great.

Do not be cheap and go after other devices. I tried almost all...The Shield runs the most consistent picture across all streaming Apps when you get your settings down. And don’t forget to set picture to AI upscale on Shield. Also Home screen is very clean, free of ads. What a machine!
