Too old at this point, AI upscale creates artifact

While it’s interface is infinitely better, what matters most is how the content is displayed. The new Cube has a cleaner upscale than the shield. If/when Nvidia wants to release an up-to-date shield I’m sure that will again be king. For now, save $100 and get the superior product.

But one thing apple doesn't have is HDD support. I decided to get this and I love it! By installing Kodi and then using an external hard drive, I can see all my movie files. The only thing I don't like is that some external hard drives stay after powering down. So you would have to unplug and replug the hard drive pending on the size of the drive. Other than that, I love it.

My experience with this is way different from Roku. Roku has an app I would like that the shield doesn't support. Also the shield started to act up way sooner. It's more costly than others. Would recommend but get the two year geek squad protection.
