Use it mainly for Youtubetv. It's hooked up to somewhat older equipment, a 2016 TV and an even older Yamaha receiver with no hdmi. Everything works. The remote even turns on and shuts off the receiver and TV. The remote buttons could require a bit more pressure to activate. The netflix button in particular is easy to hit accidentally. Some buttons can be disabled or changed with third party software, which makes it slightly better.

Nvidea is the best streaming device in the market without discussion. It’s update chip tech makes it a nice and smooth look in every source of stream or game played. It larger capacity and inputs allow me to increase number of apps and games to include in my routine. The only conn is the new remote. The triangular shape gives a better grip and handle. The central button includes another inside button which make it hard to select the Channel or push correctly . That option in the remote make me crazy tiring to write or entering info through remote. I have also the alternative to find another way to write but is other budget which I don’t consider. Good device.Poor improvement with remote

Bought this to replace an Firestick that was starting to show its age. Intergration with mouse/keyboard is seamless and you can switch between the remote and mouse/keyboard easily. The Gigabit ethernet port is also a plus. Startup and responsiveness is quick and snappy. Having native Atmos is huge as well as being a fantastic client for Plex.

I got this to replace the Android TV OS that came with my sony smart TV. Much more responsive than the TV. Remote is better too.

I have just about every current media box on the market (Fire, Chromecast, Roku, AppleTV) and this is by far my favorite streaming device. Absolute best for the money!

This is my second shield , I bought one in 2017 still is perfect, I purchased my second one for the living room the remote is very good, very happy with nvidia shield pro.

This is a lot better than my ROKU Ultra. The shield supports Dolby ATMOS and DOLBY Vision so it works well with my home theater system.
