Great quality controller, great feel
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller feels great in your hands. Perfect size for me, I have small to medium size hands. It's solid, feels well constructed and if you have the Shield TV and GForce now, you won't be putting it down much. I liken it to the original Xbox 360 controller with more grip from the angular design. It's not cheap, but you won't be disappointed. The menu buttons at the bottom center are a little bit crammed and I often press the wrong one, that is the only negative I found, but just takes some getting used to.

Better than the previous Shield Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a Shield Android TV (2015). This controller is a great improvement over the previous controller that came with the Shield Android TV (2015). - The thumb sticks are more precise and the rubber ring feels very nice. - The D pad and the LB and RB are now clicky instead of mushy from the previous controller. For those concerned about the angular design, it doesn't bother me at all. It feels pretty nice. All in all, it's a great controller, not as good as an xbox controller but close.

Solid controller with better d-pad than original
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have the original Shield TV controller and picked this one up because of the + shaped d-pad. Happy with the d-pad and feel of the controller. Note that the d-pad is a bit clicky if you have a preference. No back lights on this new controller compared to the original which isn't a big deal to me. The Android buttons aren't touch anymore and are in a new position which I like better than the original.

These are really nice!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m actually impressed by these controllers. Has the feel of the past gen Xbox controller. I get about 2.5–3 days per charge depending if I just use them for gaming and/or as a remote.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is simply fantastic it has the comfy shape of the Xbox controlled with out the goofy uneven thumb sticks. The control is fast responsive without lagging. The volume control and built in headset is awesome. I highly recommend this.

Good upgrade over 2015 controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller does the things as stated, the main highlight of the controller is always listening feature which convert the already best shield tv to standalone google home, in addition it is slicker than earlier. A must upgrade.

Much Needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have the old bulky controller you need to buy this one. It is more compact but it feels great in the hand. I think this is a great redesign and a definite buy if you have an Nvidia shield tablet or Nvidia shield streaming box

Great controller for my Shield tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glad I waited 2 months for the previous controller to get restocked. I didn't know that the new version was being released. It looks nicer and feels great. Easy to connect and very smooth. And I can use it on multiple devices.

Good quality controller
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connectivity to the Nvidia Shield is excellent. Battery life is ok. I find it loses charge quickly when not used. I do like the feel of the analog sticks and the action buttons, but the directional pad is a little stiff and could be better when compared to similar first-party controllers from Sony and Microsoft. It connects easily to the Shield and suffers from virtually no lag, as long as your display is set to a responsive "gaming" mode.

Far better than the old controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Shield Controller is far, far better than the old controller. It's lighter, uses Bluetooth, has a much nicer DPad and analog sticks, and is compatible with more devices than just Shield devices.
