His controller is so much better than the original one with the system. It is smaller; yet, it’s better designed, chargers faster, and hold the charge significantly longer than the original.

These controllers feel great, and have perfectly responsive buttons. However, I've had one longstanding issues with these controllers; their thumbsticks eventually stop returning to center properly. This causes scrolling issues, or media to just start fast-forwarding for no reason. This is my third one, hopefully I have better luck. On average, I get about 1-1.5 years out of these.
I would choose this over the worthless media remotes at any time.
Work well for games on the shield.
Personally, I think they are over priced.

Well I went back and forth on game controllers for my PC. Yes I game on a PC and not a console. I like Nvidia because usually it works great, now I read a lot of peoples reviews and complaints. I have had none of the issues. Ok well I have a rather large laptop unit that is fully loaded and a monster. It connected (once charged, must have sat around for a while) to my laptop and away to my games and it had a few things I had to disable but that is just me. So imho it is worth it, but if you are one of those that are hard on controllers buy two.

Controller works great and very responsive. Only thing I didn't like was it is in my opinion a little on expensive side. I use my Nvidia Shield mainly for streaming and casual gaming.

I bought this remote to use on my PC and it works flawlessly. You must have an Nvidia gpu for it to work with the GeForce experience installed. I also had to disable controller support on steam to get rid of a few weird bugs but it works perfectly now.

The controller is really nice and I was super excited when I got my hands on it but unfortunately one reviewer said this controller worked on ps4 and it doesn’t on mine so I have to return it cause I can’t use it, again if you’re on pc or something this controller is super nice and weighted and the triggers feel really good I just can’t use it on my console

Great, once you are on Firmware 1.04

Straight out of the box it didn't work with PC games as it was on v1.0
Once I hooked it up to my Shield Tablet K1 it asked to update it to 1.02, after that it still had issues playing PC games. I tried installed Geforce Experience on my laptop, which is all I had on me at the time to see if there was a patch/driver fix and it wouldn't let me since it didn't have nvidia hardware.
Once I hooked it to my desktop I got the real latest firmware 1.04 and now everything works great.
I have tested it on Steam Link and no issues thus far as well!

Have the 2015 model and would have upgraded but they dumbed down the new Shield TV. This controller is way better than first, however, the sound buttons bottom are not as easy on this controller.

I am an old pc gamer so controllers are not something I am use too. I still use a keyboard and mouse for most of my games on the Nvidia shield pro.
With that said, this is a good controller although I am still learning to use a controller. I really have nothing to compare it to since I never used a controller before.
It does have some features I can comment on. The easy of it pairing with the Nvidia shield and the touch strip in the center that controls volume.
