To be able to keep playing for hours on end, without worrying about not having batteries to replace in the unit, when it starts to die... AWESOME!!!

I just purchased this charging station from Best Buy on an impulse and I am glad I did. First of all, its BLACK - glad someone finally made something for us XBOX ELITE owners! No more messy USB charging wires coming from the XBOX... no more leaving the XBOX running while the controllers are charging! This unit plugs directly into your wall power outlet! Says made in China - but it appears very well made. The chargebase even has rubber pads on the bottom to prevent it from sliding all over your entertainment center. The NYKO batteries fit and worked perfectly right out of the box. Placing the controllers on the base after gaming is a breeze. When you place your controllers on the base the LED light turns RED - indicating it is charging your controller. When the charger is done it turns green and then turns off. Thanks NYKO for making such a great product at an affordable price!

The charger I bought looks similar but better than the one pictures. (Same SKU #) http://nyko.com/products/product-detail/?name=Charge+Base+S Very smooth lines and the charge status indicator is built flush into the front panel. It shows how much charge the battery has and the icon shuts off when the battery is done and It does this for each controller. It also has a USB port in the front to charge anything that charges via USB (phone, wireless headset.....) The batteries fit great into the controller just like the MS batteries. Some say the batteries are to big but that was not the case for me. I would however would like to see it be able to charge a battery without needing to be in the controller. It will if you put something with a little weight on it to make it connect to the terminals. it would be nice to have them charging on their own so you have a spare on hand when doing marathon type playing. Over all this is a GREAT product and i HIGHLY recommend it for its looks and functionality,

I always disliked the OEM style of charging my xbox 360 controller, it's loud and inconvenience. With this charging station you can plug it anywhere and have 1 or 2 controllers charging making solo play effortless when swapping battery packs. Charging icons light up when the controller is correctly placed in the cradle verifying the pack is connected and charging then the lights shut off telling you the battery is charged. Nyko battery packs are inexpensive in comparison to OEM xbox packs and are easier to find honestly. Overall this charging station was an excellent solution for my needs as a mild gamer that like to play with friends on weekends and such.

I must say this is the best thing since toilet paper. Very easy to set up and has great battery life. For the price of one Microsoft battery this comes with 2 and holds a charge for a long time. Controlers are now kept on the cradle out of the way, very nice.Great product.

This is a great charger! It charges fast and the batteries hold a charge forever. There is also a USB port in the front for powering your phone.

Got tired of buying tons of batteries. This fits the bill and recharges very quickly. Easy to set up and use.

I have this charger and it works GREAT!! My controllers are always fully charged, and you can leave them on there all of the time since the charging stops when they are charged. Indicator lights let you know when charging is taking place. There's even a USB port for charge-and-play. You can't go wrong with this device!

This base is great. And you can't beat the price. I was looking for a new battery for my controller and at first saw the official Xbox battery and charger cable. Then I saw the two battery back for the same price as the Xbox one. Then I saw this for just a little more. Made my choice easy.

I was using rechargeable double A batteries before I bought this charger for my xbox 360 wireless remote. With the two batteries that came with this charger, I can charge them both in less then an hour, the pack holds a full charge on stand by (our when dormant (not used)) for more than a week. And I can voice chat while gaming for a longer period of time with these battery pods than with my double A batteries. The snap on style batteries with this charger definitely work leagues better than the two double A holder system. I can get into more vigorous game play with these Nyco packs than double AAs al9ne The only drawback? For me, it's that the charger is designed to charge only when the battery is installed in the controller. But on the other hand, it is a fast charge, so both batteries can be charged in less than an hour for a full 4 bar indicator on the interaction screen. I might have to purchase another wireless controller just to fully utilize my charger.

The Nyko charging base has an easy set-up. Just replace the battery packs with the ones provided and put your controller right in. It charges really fast and lasts a long time. The led indicator lights are easy to follow and it overall works great.

Sleek and slim design very decorative. Fast charging time, bit pricey but worth every penny. Able to charge two controllers. Has indicators to tell when charging is done does not overcharge you can leave them on indefinitely.

I found this product to be easy to use and works as promised. Keeps my xbox controllers charged and ready to use. No need to plug in to charge.

After throwing out tons of batteries over the years, I was so happy to hear about this product for the Xbox 360. My boyfriend already used this for his Xbox One and as soon as I saw how long the rechargeable battery lasted, I went out and picked up this set for my daughter! No more throwing away batteries! This has saved us tons of money already and the battery lasts for hours! Definitely would recommend, especially if you are constantly using your Xbox not only for gaming, but for watching YouTube, Netflix, etc!

We had originally bought a different brand of power charger, but quickly found that the batteries on that unit wouldn't hold a charge for more than a few minutes. This Nyko unit is far better - we haven't yet been able to wear out the batteries in a single day, even with some pretty long play sessions. You do have to make sure that the controllers are properly seated in the base, since they won't actually charge if they're lopsided. But the lights on the front of the base make it pretty easy to tell if you've got it right.

This charger is very helpful the batteries stay for more than 6 hours of playing and it charging very fast

I actually bought this for my nephew, because he had to keep asking for batteries form the store so I decided to put a stop to that. this is one of the best things you could by your child or yourself. Think about how much AA batteries cost and compare to just recharging a battery pack and then having one on standby when one controller is about to die you just reach for the next one.

No complaints, I was really hesitant with buying it at first but because we were going through so many batteries between both remotes I decided to go ahead and buy it and it's awesome! Also great for storing the remotes versus just leaving them around everywhere, once it's done charging it turns off automatically anyway so I think it was a great purchase.
