Very early Jake Gyllenhaal role. Think Best Buy had the exclusive on the bluray. Not a masterpiece or anything but I watch any movie he is in.

Had to buy this one for my collection liked it when I saw it. And since it's only at Best Buy on Blu-ray had to get it

This is truly an inspirational movie based on a true story about a young man who dreams of building rockets instead of working in the coal mine like his father. He and three friends work together, and this movie is about the hardships and obstacles they encounter to achieve their goal of launching a rocket and entering a science fair, with college scholarships as the prize.

This is a now a classic film -- a heartwarming triumph. A very fine cast, a very fine story well told. It's a window on our past that looks forward to the endless possibilities of persistence and belief in ourselves and our future. Released at a bargain price and without fanfare or extras (gosh darn it). Picture and sound quality are exemplary. BIG THANKS to Universal on this highly desired release!
