Pound for pound, this is the best back pack for your tech gear. I've been waiting this pack for sometime, but didn't want to pay the price for it. Best Buy had it on sale for $124 when I bought mine. After having it almost three months, paying the normal price for this back isn't an issue. My laptop has never been better protected in a backpack. I carry a 15in Mac Pro with Retina display. My mouse, headphones, a HDD, iPad mini, and so much more. This thing is a beast of a pack. I love the vault at the top to protect glasses or whatever else I throw in there. My only issue is the fact that it won't stand up on its own. It has to be propped up against something. Get this bag, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this backpack for a 17-inch computer, in the specifications of the site informs that it holds laptops up to 17 ". but upon receiving it I noticed that the technical data is wrong, because my computer does not fit in this backpack. such a situation made me lose time and keep my device unprotected.

This is my first OGIO backpack and I love it. It's great for transporting my laptop as well as using it as a school/work bag. The different sections of the bag are great for organizing all my items. The laptop and sunglasses compartment are the two sections I love the most about the bag. The padding is great for protecting my laptop and the hardened section for the sunglasses ensures I don't break my Oakley's. The build quality is great, it is comfortable on my back (when adjusted), and it is very sturdy. Enough about the pros and now to the cons. The price may send some folks into (sticker) shock. To get the bag comfortably on your back, you have to loosen the straps all the way then tighten it, everytime. You can either leave the bag loosened so you don't have to readjust it all the time, but then the bag sits lows low on your back. The second option is to slightly loosen the straps and try to squeeze your arms through. It's not one of those bags you can leave at one setting then hope to easily put on and take off. I have a small to medium frame and it feels small on me. BLUF: If price is not a concern, I recommend this bag.

This is the best backpack that I have found for business travel, bar none. Laptop protection and access are tops. It is easier taking my laptop out of the bag than it is unzipping the "TSA approved" models. It also has enough pockets to carry large and small items with ease. The only thing that it's missing is a key holder inside the pockets. It is a little heavier than another Ogio that I was using but the protection that it offers is well worth the few extra ounces.

This bag is great! It has a ton of pockets for all your different gadgets and chargers. The laptop area is extremely padded to protect your valuables. Because of all the pockets, the main pocket is not as big as other bags but that doesn't bother me at all. Strong, sturdy material. This bag is comfortable to wear and easy to use.

The bag holds has lots of space to hold numerous items beyond laptop and peripherals, however, it is heavy and the straps are not very comfortable walking through airports and waiting in custom lines. The padding on the back helps somewhat, but it also doesn't breath well and ends up trapping heat between the bag and your back. If you are looking for a bag to pack numerous items, pockets to organize, and something sturdy, then this is the bag you would want. I do want to mention that the built in pocket for glasses is great, fits a pair of prescription as well as sunglasses, and keeps them protected and easily accessible since it is right on top.

Great bag. Love the organization and the set up of all the pockets. The only think I do not like about the back pack is basically the straps or at least how it connects from the bag to the straps. The straps themselves are comfortable to wear and are really well padded. However the attachment point of the bag to the straps feels weak. It's a thins "durable" fabric that is breathable but at the same times keeps me cautious about over loading the bag. I use it as an EDC bag for work and school. So I carry my 15" laptop very comfortably with room to spare. I also have on occasion my tablet but I always carry 2 notebooks, 1 textbook, 1 moleskin planner for 2015 and pens, powerbank and a few flashdrives. One more thing I wished that it had was another bottle holder pocket.

I had one backpack for my laptop forever. When it failed, I bought another, which I soon found out did not work for me. I realized how it was nice to have the appropriate padded sections, along with others for storage. I bought pack after pack and quickly found something that I didn't like about each - until I bought this backpack. It has great storage for a laptop, iPads, AND Kindles. Then there is nice storage for sunglasses, iPods, junk, and whatever you need to carry. It has a VERY useful layout, whether you have a few items or you have a lot of items that need to be separated. Very happy with it, and I'll probably buy another, for the eventual point where I have to replace it, so I don't have to go through the shopping process again.

I got this because the laptop slot on my Ogio Metro backpack ripped after 4 years of daily use. The Renegade is significantly more robust than the Metro and features lots of padding to protect your laptop. The slot loads from the top of the bag and has a thick plush foam in the front, back, and on the bottom of the laptop compartment. The materials and construction are very good with thick thread stitching and reinforcements where stress is the highest. There are several storage compartments to keep your stuff organized. I used to use the Metro bag as an overnight bag when I travel. This bag is not as cavernous which limits the amount of clothes you can stuff into it. At first this was off putting, but I've grown used to it, which has allowed me to optimize the space for my essential work items. Overall, I really like this bag, and would recommend it to someone who is a work traveler and needs to stay organized and efficient.

This bag is well put together. Material seems strong and the zippers are nice and study. I thought there might not be much room in it after filling it up with my cables, tablet, and laptop but the main area is deceivingly large. There is a hard case area for stowing things you don't want to get crushed. It positions itself high on your shoulders and seems to be comfortable to carry. I have not carried it for a long time yet. It is staying stiff far and not loose like other bags made of lesser material. Laptop compartment is a tight fit, but keeps laptop very secure and protected. The price was steep but I feel like this is what I was looking for and it has lived up to the hype as the best tech backpack out there.

This Ogio Backpack is built tough & can hold all that you need to bring with you, without being too big. The safety features of protecting your expensive computer and/or tablet are invaluable during travel and transport.

I needed something that would hold my MacBook, iPad, iPhone, chargers, external drive and still have plenty of room for netbooks and files. This backpack does all that and more. There are separate compartments for everything with room to spare without being overly large. The laptop compartment has a rigid back and front that is padded to give your computer a secure space that is unaffected by whatever you put in the main compartment. There are enough pockets for everything and everything has it own space. i am extremely happy with my purchase. If you need something to carry all your tech, this is it. I would have paid twice what this cost and still thought it was a deal.

This is an awesome backpack from OGIO. It has a ton of space and a lot of pockets. The color of this backpack is awesome with red tags on the zippers. The zippers themselves is something distinctive from OGIO. They are super easy to open and close. A cool feature of this particular backpack is the hard pocket to protect the sunglasses. It also has a special pocket for a medium sized iPad. Another cool thing: a pass through on the back to put it on your carry on bag’s handle. The backpack is super comfortable, but when you are carrying a lot of stuff and you are on a long trip, having the ability to carry it safely on your carry on luggage is great. However, now that I say traveling, this backpack might be too big for European airlines. But if you need a backpack to carry all your cables, your big laptop, your tablet, your sunglasses, books, a light jacket, 2 water bottles, external hard drives, etc, etc, etc, and you want a durable, stylish backpack with awesome zippers, this is for you.

I had been searching for a protective backpack that could hold a Dell workstation (17") and that also had compartments that were well laid out and easily accessible. I have finally found it after many hours of research and comparisons. You pay a premium but it surely is worth every penny, it's one of those bags that you will not outgrow and is well constructed and padded. You could tell that they really spent some time engineering this thing! Ogio also makes a aerodynamic motorcycle bag that I will now consider since I ride to work sometimes as well. I very seldom review things with five stars, especially after using something daily for over 4 months and giving it a chance to break. You wont be disappointed.

Just bought this one for my second son going to college & he likes it. My older son has the same one & he loves it. Lots of compartments, lots of protective compartments. The computer section is separate & an like armour. Have not needed it, but Ogio has a great warranty.

My OGIO - Renegade RSS Laptop Backpack - Black Pindot is a great light weight pack that offers the best support for my laptop and is comfortable to wear while climbing ladders on ships. I like the compartments for organization of my files, laptop, camera, and flashlight.

This replaced an old model (C. 2008) Ogio computer backpack. I love the padded section for the laptop, and the separate pocket for the tablet device - using them both! This has lots of smaller pockets which are handy for sorting things like cables (I used to carry a separate small camera bag for cables) and has places to put chargers, mice, etc. Still getting used to the new form factor, but I like it a lot!

I have never had such a durable as sturdy backpack! Yeah, its kind of big. Like a piece of luggage but once you get over that, this is just simply a great piece of gear. I have room for everything. And I feel safe every time I place my ipad pro in the protected area that nothing will happen to it. The eye glass holder, side pockets and multiple compartments all are adequately sized. The texture of the material feels top shelf. Again, highly recommended!!!

I was really surprised how much I like this bag because I don't normally like backpacks. It is really light weight even with lots of books and a laptop in it. It protects my laptop really well and is really durable. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone.
