Excellent movie, will one day be an American Classic, even if its scary to think can this really happen. After watching it makes it hard sometimes to travel around DC and see military planes heading to Andrews. Great acting and good movie overall, definitely watch this before watching White House is Down. Great price for all that you get in this bundle, worth getting on blue-ray if you have a big screen.

It's certainly not the most original movie as it feels like a modern day Die Hard after another 2 dozen movies have already tried that, but it's always fun to watch famous landmarks get blown up hollywood style and the white house is no exception. Villain in this movie is marginally more interesting than in the other white house down movie released so I tend to like this one a little bit more even though they're both good at what they're trying to be

Honestly, since there's a sequel to this film, I decided to purchase it for that reason. The reviews are up to par with this film's display of action and explosions. Olympus Has Fallen wasn't anywhere near my radar until the trailer for the sequel convinced me to take a second look at it's predecessor. No regrets whatsoever. Great popcorn and drink movie to keep you satisfied till the end.

I have been reluctant to see this actor's movies since the last few were not very entertaining, but this is more like it. It started a little slow, but quickly became fast paced and action packed. This is more Gerard Butler's style and it shows. Once the action starts it never let;'s up till the end. It is very timely movie considering today's current events. Highly Recommended for some good movie entertainment.

Was happy with the purchase and price was cheaper then target. Though the plot was a little cheesy (With all due respect, I'm all you've got...), I've enjoyed watching the movie. My wife saw it in theaters twice before we bought it, part Gerard and part awesome action. Although the action wasn't fuzzy from any love stories, there was some depth in the love for the president's son. The plot wasn't particularly complex, but it was a fun movie to watch.

I can say that I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw this movie. It is what Die Hard should have been rather than the 5th edition to the series. Gerard Butler plays a convincing secret service agent that is bent on saving the president. Though I'm not generally a Butler fan, he and the cast were pretty good at their roles. It also had a lot more satisfying action that I originally expected.

I am a big fan of the director Antoine Fuqua who brought us plenty of classic films such as Training Day, Brooklyn Finests, and the incredible film Magnificent Seven. With this film Antoine steps out of his comfort zone and bring such an incredible story with a terrificly assembled all star line up. This is something to see if you love great action movies.

This movie is LOADED with stars that I really like - Bassett, Forster, Hauser, Melissa Leo, McDermott, Radha Mitchell (Pitch Black, The Crazies), Freeman etc. etc. It is very high-octane that will keep you riveted. I would recommend Olympus Has Fallen for an enjoyable viewing that will keep you in your seat. Best Buy did it again with the Blu-Ray plus DVD package.

I wasn't really sure what to expect when I went to this movie. The decent action flicks of yesterday have been replaced by superheroes shooting space aliens or super gory, gross movies that are so hardcore they turn me off before I ever get past the trailer. But this movie takes you back to the really cool action thrillers of yesteryear and frankly, I was riveted throughout.

i personally loved the movie. the extras were great, lots of featuretts on the making of the movie, to behind the scenes stuff, gag reel. etc. if you enjoyed this movie, you should also enjoy the bonus features. it just sucks being this is a bluray release, there was no spanish language track. we're in the USA, eng and spanish are the two leading languages here, not french.

Though the acting may not be Oscar worthy, or maybe it was, and the premise may be a bit far-fetched, the action sequences more than make up for any minor acting or script imperfections. I mean, the early scene of the AC-130 gunship, I think that's what it was, attacking Washington was just an awesome visual feat, in my opinion, and was just the beginning to what would be a complete shoot-em-up movie.

I know the critics panned this movie, but I thought it was excellent, action-packed from the get-go. Who cares if the plot was a little predictable, Gerard Butler does a very credible job wiping the floor with the bad guys. My retired mother, not really an action movie fan, liked it almost as much as I did, and that's saying something!

This is a pretty solid action movie. It came out pretty much at the same time that White House Down did. The 2 movies are very similar. This movie was the grittier of the 2, which I believe made me like it a little more and my wife like it a little less. With that aside, though, I would recommend this movie. The plot is well thought out, the action is great, and the acting is decent.

One of the best action movies I've seen in a while. I don't usually watch or like these types of movies. But the hubby loves them so ... but I have to admit I would watch this one again. I even bought an extra one for my brother. Gerard Butler does an excellent job in the movie, and I'm not a fan of him either. Great movie.

Love these no-brainer boom boom flicks. This IMHO is the better of the two movies dealing with capturing the White House. At the very least it has a good movie sound track and videographic interest to be a demo disc for your surround-sound home theater system And the best part is, you don't have to put too much mental energy into understanding the plot. Enjoy!

I think that "Olympus Has Fallen" was one of the greatest films of all-time with a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense and drama and was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I also think that "Olympus Has Fallen" had a really great and amazing cast, plot and storyline as well.

Some stella performances here, especially from Morgan Freeman (although would we expect anything less from him?). Probably the best film based on the premise of an attack on the White House. Full of action and some interesting twists. This is one of Gerard Butler's better roles, he suits action films quite well.

I had low expectations going into the movie, but I can say that it surprised me because it was actually a decent movie! I thought the story was well written and Gerard Butler did a good job kicking butt! Even though it was rated R, I wasn't expecting some of the kills in the movie. Wasn't really bothered by them, just caught me off guard. Overall, it's a good action movie!

I had a secret Santa and this movie was on a list of things she wanted. I found it for $3.99 in a bin and she is very happy with the movie. It is an older movie but the price was cheaper than I could order and have it shipped (so don't hesitate to look in the bargain bins when searching for an older movie).

"Olympus Has Fallen" is a solid action flick detailing the take-over of the White House by a group of terrorists. Decent acting, plenty of action, and copious explosions make this a worthwhile use of your time and popcorn. Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman head up a great cast of actors, Better than "White House Down" in my opinion.
