Huge Die Hard/Bruce Willis fan but this movie just killed! Came out same season as Die Hard 5 and was better than DH5. The spirit of DH1 was in this particular film and that's what made it so good. Simple, character focused and fun with a lot of action!

I didn't have real high expectations when I watched this movie but I was pleasantly surprised within the first 30 minutes. The action and story unfold well to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. I liked this movie so much I bought it later on... which is saying something considering I rarely buy movies.

The summary says it all. From the nearly nonstop action, to the espionage elements, to the hilarious one-liners from Gerard Butler's former secret service agent, this move is more "Die Hard" than the last two "Die Hard" movies combined. Highly recommended. Also, you may skip "White House Down" in favor of this one: it is superior in every way!

I was reluctant to see buy this movie because the idea of the White House is under attack by the North Korean terrorists. I realize that the director of the movie is Antoine Fauqua. I love his work and the movie did well in the theaters. I know it must be good. The action and violence are very realistic.

When this two movies came out people were probally thinking "Here we go again, two similar movies with no great one in the end" Wrong. Not only is Olympus Has Fallen better of the two, but I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great action flick. Audio is superb Visuals are great.& I definitly enjoyed the story myself.

Not the greatest movie of all time, but well worth having. And if you are going to get new movies...get a combo pack. Even if you don't have a blue-ray player, you likely will eventually. For now, enjoy the DVD, then you can marvel in blue-ray awesomeness later without needing to buy it again and have yet another movie case lying around.

Great movie!!!!!!! I saw London has fallen first and I heard that there was a movie before this one. So I bought Olympus has fallen. Good movie and I got the ultra violet version too. Very happy with my purchase you should buy it too. I would recommend this movie to a friend or stranger. Enjoy this action pack film

The movie itself was a bit too graphic for my family's taste. Aside from that, the features offered on the Blu-Ray were great. (Commentaries, Making of, lots of special features included) As with any Blu-Ray disc, the quality of the visual content is crisp, clear and full.

Mike Banning, a former secret service agent must save the President and his son from terrorists that have taken over the White House. This movie is a nonstop action thriller. The fate of our President and nuclear disaster are in the hands of our hero. This movie is ultra violent.

For two movies to come out about the same time, with essentially the same plot, "Olympus Has Fallen" was a pretty good "popcorn" movie. Our movie nights are on Fridays and this film was at least "four kernels" on our popcorn scale. Plenty of fireworks, evil bad-guys, and superhuman heroes made for escapist type moments.

If you're looking for a kick butt action flick that doesn't hold back on the brutality, you're in for a real treat. Gerard Butler makes an awesome modern day John McClane in what is basically Die Hard in the White House. Plenty of action and thrills. Highly recommended.

How can you go wrong with a Morgan Freeman movie? This one has it all. Exciting action, thought provoking story line, character engagement. A movie to make one stop and think about how easily and quickly our lives can change, and evaluate what is truly important in our lives.

The film, which takes a more serious approach than the other film White House Down has better action sequences and fight scenes. Featuring an all star supporting cast and a strong lead performance it is better than most people are willing to admit.

This movie was action packed from beginning to end. You never had time to catch your breath between all of the shooting and killing. The bad guy in this movie has played in several movies and he never fails to bring the drama to life. His character is always so believable.

Action. Adventure. Intrigue. The sort of movie you watch because you like that sort of thing.

A really fun movie full action and excellent actors! Gerard Butler does an excellent job in the role of Mike Banning. The action stays steady throughout and graphics are good. If you like action movies then I would definitely recommend this movie to you.

Never got to see this movie in the theater so decided to purchase for my partner for Christmas. Wasn't sure about it because it didn't do so well at the box office. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! This is a fantastic movie that I will definitely watch again!

This is a great action flick. It has lots of action, but the action is necessary to develop the plot. It is not an action flick that just has action for action's sake, but it helps to develop the plot and leads naturally from one scene to another. A must own.

Two movies came out at the same time that were basically about the same topic both were good, neither was excellent. I enjoyed both more than I hoped, but I think they could have taken the best parts of both and made one excellent movie. Still, enjoyed watching it enough to recommend.

Intense domestic security situation, which in some instances may hit too close to home. A few twists, some aspects push the borderline of reality, but not where it takes away from the movie. I wish we had more good guys to depend on. Worth watching. Take away what you can.
