Sweet soul sound from Mavis

70's kid raised to recognize great music
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was reminded of how AWEsome Ms. Staples is after watching the recent documentary of this legendary singer, on HBO entitled: Mavis! I have always been a fan of The Staple Singers, since hearing their music on full rotation on the radio in the 70's. Although I was only 2-3 yrs old, I thoroughly enjoyed rocking to the groups music while watching one of my all time favorite classic movies, Let's Do it Again. I've been a fan ever since. Keep up the soul winning work Ms. Mavis.
