This unit was very easy to set up sounds great and even my wife can use it. Easy operation to use different inputs and speakers.

This receiver has tons of features and all the connections you will ever need. The sound is amazing, the best for movies.

what a beast you can't go wrong with this unit. It is so easy to set up and the sound is by far better then my Denon.

This is my second Onkyo multi-channel receiver and it replaces an older model that lacks many of the newer and current standards. It has some great features that competition doesn't offer at this price point.

I bought this Onkyo Reciever after buying a Denon brand. During installing the Denon I noticed that it only had 1 4K hdmi port. I have multiple devices that support 4K and expect to be getting more as 4K becomes more popular. I took it back and looked at this Onkyo, it had 3 4K port and more regular hdmi ports. Just as many features as the Denon and way easier to program! And it was even less money! Can't ask for anything more really

Overall this is a very good sounding receiver, easy to use. The sound selection is a little confusing to find.

My husband and I have enjoyed this system in our den. This creates a great place to entertain family and friends. We would and have recommended this system to family and friends.

Produces great sound, noticeably better than the model I previously used. The remote control, however doesn't seem to work well on all functions, this makes it difficult to operate.

I brought this receiver back in may and within a couple weeks it went into some protective mode, I took it back to Best Buy and they gave me another one. That one worked fine until Saturday when I got the NR SR code. I called product support and I unplugged all my speakers went to best buy and brought new speakers and wires and banana clips. Spent hours redoing all the wires and redid the setup and now I have a HDMI issue to where I can't see anything on the TV. I plug the HDMI cord out of the receiver and into my LG and the picture is fine. So I have reset the receiver only to get what I think is some diagnostic error code of 11: 000000800000 but by time I called again they were closed. I will call today when I get off in hopes I can get this error cleared out and if not I am taking this back to best buy and I want another receiver I like the features and when this works it's awesome the problem is it doesn't work consistently.

Although over a 1 yr old design now, the TX-NR646 has all the features I was looking for, including Atmos, zone 2 powered support, and clean power. Best Buy had it on sale for a great price. Switching between sources is quick, and so far no major disappointments. The subwoofer adjustments and bass handling is not as flexible as my previous Yamaha (lightning took it out), but is otherwise fine. Hope it is as reliable as my Yamaha was.

Onkyo has an awesome Home Audio System here. Fantastic Features. Easy to Program. My Klipsch Surround Stereo System has never sounded so great!

I replaced my lower end Yamaha receiver with the Onkyo. Not fair to compare the two, but absolutely amazing difference. The speakers are calibrated to my room & oh what a sound. Huge difference. I love it. I'm a professional musician of 50 years playing guitar and appreciate the sound quality.

HDMI 2.2 Compliant with 3d pass through at a nice price. The sound is amazing with my JBL speakers.

My only complaint is that it's missing HD radio. Thought that would have been standard by now. Other than that little gripe it is a very nice and very capable receiver. No regrets.

Bought this receiver to upgrade my 10+ year old Onkyo receiver. Paired it to my IPad and connected it to my UHD 4K tv. So far, it works great. Very happy that I decided to buy this.
