Receiver is easy to set and has all the functions I need. This is the third Onkyo I have purchased and been pleased with all of them. Quality made and I have never had trouble with any of them.

It is a great improvement over my old SONY. Sound is better in movies and music. The overhead speakers really add a new dimension. I recommend it highly especially for the price.

great sound and connectivity. Lots of customization options. Only drawback is that the wifi does not work on my unit.

This is my first AV receiver, so I dont know a lot about the av receivers, Well it has Dolby ATMOS, DTS X ready, AirPlay, dual zone, many HDMIs, & WiFi capability. Its good.

This is my second Onkyo receiver and an upgrade to my original Soundsystem. I wanted a network receiver with Dolby Atmos built in. This receiver is made my system sound great.

Bought this with high hopes of a good receiver. Worked for 21 days then video through to the TV stopped. Tried to exchange, but they held fast to the 15 day rule. Called corporate, no luck. It is now across the state of Florida waiting in line for a repair. It sounded good for 3 weeks. It has a lot of good sound adjustments and a phono input (which was the deciding factor in choosing it.) Hopefully I'll get it back in tip top shape. Last receiver I bought lasted 30 years (RCA Dimensia).

This is my third Onkyo, and it is a good as it has always been. This receiver has a few extras that my last unit did not, but it is still easy to set up and customize.

Love the number of hdmi inputs on this device and the up convert of av to hdmi. Great sound even on my old speakers and works well with 4k and 3d devices

I walked into the store wanting the Sony. Another customer steered me right: Setup took a few hours. The Onkyo website is very useful for additional documentation as is the app that controls system. It truly is a dual zone system with independent volume. Don't waste your time with cheap speakers or sub-woofer - at 170 W/channel, this amp delivers. Cant wait to try it with the Dolby Atmos. NEGATIVES: The silk print for the front panel buttons are small and hard to read in dim lighting (if you don't control from the app). The remote would be better if it had a back light.

This receiver is amazing. The way it breaks down the different sounds through speakers is just out of this world. The features are great as well!

Took several hours to get things connected. After everything was setup the older TV had trouble tuning in the color and sound. The TV was not 4K. That was the problem but no one told us.

All around it is a great receiver and has a vast variety of functionality. Only thing that bothers me is the bluetooth. Sometimes it distorts the sound when it's not getting good signal which sucks when you're blasting music and all of a sudden your speakers sound distorted. Hard to believe that this is a problem when it has two antennas for the bluetooth capability but all around it provides great clarity and sound. Have it set up to two R-28 Klipsch, a Klipsch 15" front firing sub, and a klipsch center.

This amp is all you will need for exceptional sound and clarity. I had it installed and hooked up by geek squad (recommend). It is a very good amp.

Bought to replace an old five channel pioneer amp that was supposed to be very low thd. This p sounds better and setup was fairly easy.

I am not tech savvy, but had no difficulty setting up the Onkyo. It appears to be working great. Would recommend for any level of expertise.

This unit replaced an Onkyo TX-SR702 which is still running strong. I just wanted a network/HDMI AVR. IMHO, can't go wrong with Onkyo products.

I bought this receiver as an entertainmentcenter für my whole devices. The installation overall was in a few parts tricky but this relay not only on the receiver and more on my Samsung UHTV and the Sony BD Player. (Why did Samsung chose only HDMI3 for ARC???? everyone would chose HDMI1 if only one device is conneted.... netherhless. This is not a fault of the Onkyo people, they have done a very good job. This is my second Onkyo receiver after 28 years! I hope this one is as good as the old was ;-)

I bought this on the Deal of the Day, and I have to say the features that it has for the price that I paid are outstanding.

this is my first receiver. got it for 300$. absolutely loving it. no complaints. but again i do not have anything else to compare with
