This thing sounds awesome! Works great with my 4K setup.

This is a good product but does emit a lot of heat. Our old Onkyo receiver burned up so bought this one as a replacement. We are installing fans in our media center to keep this one from over heating.

I have this hooked up to my 55" TV / surround sound / Xbox etc. It works great! Just having a little trouble with getting the TV to show the image at times, sometimes it works sometimes not. I have to make sure the contractor I hired installed it correctly. BUT THE INPUT / OUTPUT quality seems to be great.

I purchased this on sale and ordered it to replace an aging pioneer. The connections are intuitive and it has plenty of ports. The downside starts with the display on the front looks like a green digital clock from the 80's, but I could make due with that on the dim setting I guess. The real issue is that it cuts out periodically for no reason . The signal stops and causes the TV to turn off and then back on. I returned to my old pioneer and the problem stopped. I'll be returning this product this weekend to the store!

We like the performance of device, but 2 weeks after Geek installation zone 2 sound stopped working. We paid extra for installation so we called Geek. He came back and restored it. Worked for a week. Quit and no returned calls back from Geek . So we only have about 1/2 function.

I was looking to upgrade from my old pioneer so picked this up on sale. One week later I picked up a denon instead and I'm having a much better experience. This reviewer is budget friendly.

It's a quality piece of equipment, and when I returned to the store to ask questions about another item I also purchased. They gave me the sale price, it was like week later. There is an old saying "you get what you pay for, I got more."

This receiver exceeded all my expectations and has made watching my new 80" Sony 4K TV a brand new experience that I very much enjoy, each and every time I sit down. The audio experience from the 7 speaker set up is in one word, "awesome".

I've owned several mid priced receivers, and onkyo products seem to have more headroom and dynamic power especially strong dynamic range. Music and movies just seem to have more bang. I think their amplifier section is the best

I have had 2 Sony receivers and a Pioneer. By far this is my favorite one. It was not complicated to hook it up to DVD player, ROKU, and Dish satellite receiver I also like the fact, I can play my music from iPhone through wifi.

I have owned Onkyo receivers before but this one tops them all. Connectivity is great, there is nothing left out. Set up was quite easy. I have not used all the capabilities of this receiver but I am already satisfied.
