It's amazing to listen to my records again after 20+ years in storage. The sound quality way surpasses CD's even though my records are from the mid 70's-mid 80's. Plus the ability to listen to music out by the pool while someone else watches a movie inside is really convenient.

This has all the features we wanted and for the right price. Exactly what we were looking for!

Found it easy to set up. But it had a problem with the sound. After FF REW, or Pause the sound would take about 10 -15 seconds to come back. No matter the device; cable box, DVD etc. Tried new cables, resetting, phone calls to Onkyo. Was told it was a "handshaking" issue with the devices and the receiver. But the crazy thing was that the rep on the phone told me to let them know if it was "still happening after next week". Like it was going to be a magic week? Or maybe some new firmware? If it was stil happening I could return it to Onkyo and they would check it out. Too iffy for me so I returned it for something else.

Great performance and easy setup. Product works nicely in place of its predecessor.

I bought this item as an open item and got a great price. My primary reason for selecting this receiver was that it had a zone 2 for my whole home speaker system (basic, nothing special). In the process of setting up my receiver I dropped my speaker switch and it broke. I bought a new switch and tried several things but never got the zone 2 to play anything but a faint sound through 1 mono speaker. I have taken it to Geek Squad and expect it back this week. I enjoy the sound quality, bluetooth connectivity, smart phone remote app (my open item didn't come with a factory remote), and that the programming is onscreen so you don't have to sit and mess with the dials like older models.

This receiver packs a punch! It produces high quality sound through my Klipsch speakers. It also has Dolby Atmos integrated!!! My movies and PS4 games never sounded better, or louder! Even my neighbors ask me if I have a theater at home, lol. Pooh the envy :)

Enjoy everything about it just wish ALL sources where available for zone 2

Upgraded from a Denon to this Onkyo great sound great picture at an affordable price.

Had an older version and this one is better, love the Bluetooth option!

This receiver has a lot of features and sounds good for the money.

Have a great quality of sound and great quality for movies in 4k.

My husband and I are both novices so it took a little while to setup and figure out but once we did it works great. Initially we had it set up on Wi-Fi and it would disconnect but we now have it streaming via Ethernet and it works consistently. The best part is the app you can download and control it with your phone, which is actually much easier than the remote control.

my first onkyo system worked very well for a long time, approx 5 years before i discovered something was wrong, i tried to trouble shoot the problem myself that drove me crazy. Finally i replaced the unit and all of my issues were resolved. next time i will have an expert do the trouble shooting.

This receiver is a solid performer with great features and plenty of power.

Our last receiver was too complicated and not-user friendly. Our new Onkyo receiver is much easier to use and the sound is great. We've been using it for a month now and we're very satisfied. For the price we paid, it was a great value.

I run all 6 of my devices through this. I like the pass through that allows you to watch tv without turning on receiver if I don't want the better sound. Only negative is the text on the receiver is too small to see. The solution is to hit display on the remote and it will show on tv screen.

This highly rated receiver was a bargain when they knocked a $100 off of it. Its setup was easy with its menu system and the sound setup was a breeze with its self calibration with its microphone. The sound is phenomenal.
