Top quality audio surround sound system The very best of the best

Upgraded from the pioneer. This unit is great easy in stall if you've done it before also remote works with satellite an other components how ever the sound or power is not great to me volume goes to 30 or 40 to get good sound volume maxes out at 70

This receiver offers a plethora of features that more expensive receivers lack. I wish it did not look like a big black box but most A/V receivers do. Can not go wring with this receiver! Would recommend!

I did A LOT of research before committing myself to this product! I finally have a 7.1 system and the connectivity to devices is so many!! you can connect to so many devices and the remote app makes the whole experience allot simpler . While it is a little pricey, its so worth it for the experience! especially with Dobly ATMOS

I had my search narrowed down to yamaha aventage and this onkyo. A Best buy sale made my decision easier. I've only had it for two weeks but it does everything i was hoping for so far. Lets me listen to music from one source while i play video from another source, something my last receiver didn't do. Great if you want to listen to music while having the game on mute on the tv, or listen to music from my laptop while playing playstation. etc... i used the wired ethernet instead of the wifi because the router is right next to the receiver, hook up was very easy. It's got a ton of features that i haven't even begun to explore yet, looking forward to playing with it soon.

I was unhappy when I found that component video would not convert 1080 I to HDMI as I have a DVHS tape deck. I had to go straight to TV. Other then that this receiver is great. Will give it 5 stars when I see the firmware up grade to DTS-X.

Easy setup, great sound quality. 2nd zone passthru

This was the best choice for all of my external video devices former connectivity issues. No more cable swaping! And especially for my new Ultra 4K TV. It has made it much easier to switch between all my external devices and the sound output is superb!!

I finally got something with enough juice to power my 2 12" Cerwin Vegas, Center speaker and two surround speakers. Quality is amazing and easy set up. Love the zoning features and how it has two outs. Highly recommend for a home entertainment system!

Our receiver stopped working so went to Best Buy to find replacement. Sales person helped us find a quality product and it was on sale. Also, we were able to finance it for zero interest for 12 months. We had a problem with figuring out how to hook things up but Best Buy told us what to do and it works great now. The only reason that I gave the rating 4 stars instead of 5 is because I didn't realize when I bought this receiver that in order to get the surround sound to work properly I would need 2 more speakers in addition to the 4 regular speakers and the woofer that I already have. I do intend to get those additional speakers so it will work as designed.

I had an Onkyo and it lasted about 10 years. This one has even more features and I really liked the phono jack. This was easy to set up and has a second zone that can play different music from zone 1.

Easy to set up and configure. Auto "tuning" of audio environment really great. Fabulous sound. Really like being able to feed 7 inputs through one receiver and ability to reassign buttons on remote.

This is my second onkyo system. It was time to upgrade to 7.2 from 5.1 sound and boost up the wattage. So far this system has been everything the onkyo brand is known for loud and clear. When enjoying a concert or movie it's like your at the show. I look forward for years of quality sound from this system

Although I've only had this receiver for a few weeks it is performing well. The menus seem to be somewhat dated but I'm happy with the sound, easy hookup and overall performance.

My only complaint is that the only way to feed sound to room 2 is through an optical cable or component cable. It will not feed my sound from the TV box through the HDMI cable to the room 2 outputs. I like the phone app, but the next time I tried to use it it would not connect.
