    Purchased this unit because it allowed me to plan for future components additions and had everything that I thought I would need for my entertainment pleasures. I connected it to my network with ease and the onscreen guide is straight-forward once you think like the designers. This is not for the novice as the terminology may be a little tricky.

    For the price point, this receiver has a really good feature set. moving up to the 757 to net the few extra watts per channel and THX certification would only be beneficial to a small handful of individuals, for everyone else, this is by far the better bargain.

    Not a bad product for the price. It did everything I needed it to do, except the Bluetooth board went out after 3 months. Had to make a few phone calls to Onkyo. They couldn’t get it fixed and sent me to a local repair shop. I obviously wasn’t going that route, so I took it to Best Buy instead and exchanged it for another one. The 2nd One has been going strong for some time now.
