Replaced my original 15 year old onkyo. The power levels, pass through and multiple hdmi ports make this a great choice for anyone with multiple game consoles and/or streaming devices especially at this price point.

Receiver works ok with nice on screen setup. Here's the bad part. If you have older equipment to plug into it, you are really limited how much you can use. If you have new equipment or want to get new stuff for it, there are plenty of ports to plug into.

I bought this receiver during black Friday. It is a great value but not great. The volume needs to be at at least 50+ to hear anything.

This receiver works great. I especially like how I can play my music from my phone ant the unit will automatically power on when starting to play and power off after a delay when I am no longer playing anything.

This is an excellent AV receiver if you're on a budget. It doesn't support 4 ohm speakers or have THX, but other than that, it has most everything else you could hope for. The automatic calibration works great too. I highly recommend this product.

Very nice sound, good connectivity, decent remote. The app for it is confusing, and streaming via airplay doesn't always work the first time. The thing that has me concerned is a regular loud "click" noise from inside it, no idea what it is...

    Poor Sound Quality

Purchased the unit to replace a Harmon Kardon that died. I've always used HK because of their superb sound quality. Because they seem to have exited the Higher End sound market, I was searching for something with both quality and of course HDCP 2.2. Grabbed this unit on sale and was really disappointed in the sound quality. The surrounds were decent but lacked power. The center channel sound quality is terrible, completely un-natural. Attempted to tweek through setting but was unable to get a reasonable result. Returning and going with a Marantz unit.

Great unit and awesome sound. Has some issues with HDMI handshaking with my Sony TV, and doesn't seem to pass through Dolby Vision, but those are first world problems (for me).

This reciever had the ability to play Internet radio like Pandora without connecting to a phone. It connects directly to the Wi-Fi so no cut out when walking for distances away from the receiver

The system when turned on will redirect to the system"s default settings which can be distracting. Otherwise the product performs accordingly. The price was consistent with the value as I paid about just below five hundred dollars.

Great quality. This is my third Onkyo receiver. Great for home theater and second channel set up for outdoor speakers. One complaint would be my Xbox hdmi signal cuts out. This is an issue with my other onkyo receiver as well.

Very good receiver. Replaced an old Onkyo receiver that I had that worked fine for many years. Just needed an upgrade to new technology and bought Onkyo again because of the quality.

With my old unit, I could select zone 1 or zone 2 or both to play from all input, this one, zone 2 only plays from one input, if you don't use that input, zone 2 is worthless.

This is obviously a good AV Receiver but in order to maximize it's full potential, you need to make sure you have the right speakers and Dolby Atmos capable TV, player, etc... I'd say go for the latest model and go big.

This was a good piece of equipment, and ultimately fit my needs - however, the instructions that came with it were pretty minimal, and I had to recruit assistance to get the other pieces to work with this one.

Needed a new receiver and this one was mentioned as being good as well as moderately priced. It is excellent in its performance and I'm glad the salesperson recommended it.
