It is not communicating with the tv nor emitting any sound out of speakers. I cannot get it to initiate on screen set-up. It only displays on the receiver screen. I am calling the Geek Squad to evaluate it at my home. Hopefully just user error. I will review later after problem is resolved.

Easy to setup, excellent sound quality, very satisfied with this product!

I purchased this about a month ago and while watching TV the screen would flicker (like you had turned the cable box off and then back on) for no apparent reason. Switched cables, did the same thing. Switched to a different input, did the same thing. Returned it and purchased a Denon 920W and have yet to have this problem. Unit looks great, but it in no way compares to the Denon I purchased to replace it. And the Denon has a lot for features like Atmos. It could have just been a defective unit, but after reading online of others experiencing the same thing, I believe it is an issue with all of this model.

I know this receiver isn't exactly high end but it's far from low end. I would assume anyone buying this wants it due to the power and amount of HDMI inputs. All of that is great but it has an audio delay when there is short bursts of audio. The audio on Apple TVs or PS4s, Xboxes and PCs don't start right away. The receiver has to warm up or something anytime there is silence then audio. So navigating menus basically have no noise now. This is something that can't be changed and Onkyo says that it is normal when decoding uncompressed sound. Which my 4 year old Sony receiver had no issues with. I wish I could return it. I'll probably try to sell it off. It's such a shame as it seems like a great receiver but I'll probably never buy another onkyo product because of this.

The unit will cut the video/sound off at times for no reason, come back, go out, come back, go out, come back sometimes up to 10 or 15 times. Not sure what the problem is but we turn the unit off, then back on and it's fine for a week or so, then the issue returns.

This product is working great with great features.

Works great, install was not as simple as made to believe.

So far it has exceeded my expectations for the money I paid.
