Sound OK, calibration system is bad, no difference between the old model, I'm still looking for something better

Works ok, gets really hot, Spotify does not work on my unit I tried updating firmware to no avail.

Wish I stuck with Denon. And best wouldn't let me exchange it because it was a week past 14 days.

No power when connecting with Bose floor 10.2 old speakers. Ok for the new cheap speakers.

I started getting problem after 2 months of my purchase. I called Onkyo for support they asked me to send the equipment with my own money to which is under warranty. The shipment amount is the half the price of ur device, Not worth money. Bad service.

Although this reciever has alot of options, it began to play alot of static. At first i thought it was my Def Techs. After testing each individual speaker and a different reciever i determined it was the Onkyo. Returned for a Yamaha, more than pleased now

I purchased a 4000 TV with the bells and whistle. I have had the Onkyo receiver and Bose set up for decades. Replaced by Onkyo 5.1 with this model for the new technology. My new receiver doesn't come close to the sound from movies are music. Very disappointed.

Functionality good.Tough to set up sound for room.

Was only slightly impressed with the sound output.

I had hoped it would have been as good as my recent purchase of the Pioneer Elite LX101 which I would have got as my upstairs receiver. I didn't get the Pioneer again because it wasn't on sale anymore. I had nothing but difficulty with HDMI controls on this second system with this Onkyo AV receiver and then when I had the sound off and got within 4-5 foot of it I could here the receiver humming. I don't want my audio equipment to be making sounds it shouldn't be making so I brought it back and just decided to forgo the modern features for the upstairs and return to using my old trusty high-power 8-channel Yamaha receiver.

Bought this jumping at the wattage. After further research and forum talk, this receiver is all talk. Look at the specs closely. All the add ons are great but Onkyo decided to pull a Sony and over rate their wattage..

Quit Working 2 weeks after the 2yr warranty went out. No help from Best Buy or Brand. Dont waste $500

This receiver had all the features I wanted at a reasonable price. But when I got it hooked up, the sound was muffled. I had to raise the volume to 60 to get a decent sound. I tried everything to correct the problem with no success. I called the Geek Squad and they couldn't fix it either and recommended I return it. I returned it and purchased a Sony and I'm very satisfied with it.

Sounded great in the store. As always when I got home sounded just mono rather that stereo. Will wait for a while before I buy a different product.

I love the sound quality of these receivers but the extra heat cause issues with receiver longevity.

I think it's been an okay buy. It takes forever to connect a new Bluetooth device.
