Fine for my needs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a secondary receiver to act as a conduit for my DVD player/TV reaching 4 speakers built in to what was intended to be a home theater room but became my office. I didn't want surround sound, although this unit has the capability to do 6-channel 5.1 surround. I just wanted 4-speaker stereo plus a subwoofer. I was lucky enough to find this as an Open Box buy at 50% off, so it was a no-brainer to buy. It's served my needs perfectly with very little cash outlay.

If this is what you are looking for - it's for you If you need a little bit more custom setup - u must look for better shelf ...

Onkyo 700W

Delivers a powerful punch in my home theatre

This is an absolute must for any novice or experienced home theatre consumer. You may not have 3D television or you may not have a 4K television yet but you might as well invest in the future. The sound quality is tremendous bosting Dolby True HD and DTS HD on a 140W sound system. The surround sound it delivers is exquisite. You get about as much bang for your buck as possible.
