Sound is perfect within my budget. It is easy to set up.

Was shopping for a replacement receiver and needed something that fit in a tight budget to replace one from the 1990s. Has lots of features and is one of the best on the market for the money. The staff at Best Buy gave it a good recommendation so we purchased it. It has been great and far exceeded our expectations. Love the Bluetooth connection.

This is the 2nd Onkyo system I've purchased for the house. I purchased this particular system for the theatre room, to go with my Epson Projector. 4K & 3D pass-through allow for room to grow. I use the Blu-tooth connection frequently to play music from my iPhone. Sound quality it excellent. Impressive bass for system at this price point.

This was my 3rd refurbished item I have bought. All of them work great and have saved several hundred bucks in doing so.

i've only had this item for a couple weeks. but so far it sounds good. lots of useful features. clean sound. only issue i can see is when i use the bluetooth function, there's a clicking sound when i switch songs on my phone, though i can't say for sure whether it's the receiver or my phone. probly my phone tho cuz it's a cheap phone.

Purchased this to replace a higher end Onkyo that crapped out on me. Not as many features as my other Onkyo, but serves as sound system for my AV setup nicely. I needed to buy a AB switch to play music in another room, but works as well as the AB switch on my earlier stereo Very pleased so far and sale price made it a no brainer.

We just built a new home and had surround sound speakers installed by the builder. I need a stereo receiver to pull the tv and speakers together. I got some great help from a Best Buy employees at my local store and bout a great receiver at a good price. My wife and family love going to the movies in our own home. Thanks Best Buy!

When I bought my first stereo I tried multiple brands. I decided on an Onkyo. It has worked great for me for 15 years so when it was time to get a new receiver it was a no brainer. The onkyo receiver I bought was full of all the latest greatest features, but still had the easy and user friendly setup and navigation. Onkyo is all I buy!

My old LG reciever finally died after 10 years. I started online and looked at several brands and saw this. It was a good price a little more than I wanted to pay,however after I got it home and hooked it up (which was easy ) I am in love! Being able to enjoy my music and watch the shows and be able to hear them is awesome.

We bought this while it was on sale-a big factor in this purchase! So many receivers are so expensive. I am a review nut so I did alot of research, read many reviews on different brands and finally ruled out everything else and got down to this one. It has been great! It was super easy to hook up and use and we love it!

This product produces great sound and was easy to install

Love that I only need to plug one HDMI cable into the tv and then everything else into the receiver. Easy to set up as well. also love the bluetooth.

This is my second Onkyo device. I upgraded mainly to add in decoding of Dolby TrueHD which my earlier system didn't do. I also wanted an extra HDMI input and this one has 4 where my last one had 3. I found the performance of this unit to be far superior to my earlier unit. I used to have problems with HDMI "handshake" with my earlier unit but I haven't had that once with this one. The microphone setup for tuning your surround sound speakers was easy to do and I can definitely tell the difference in how everything sounds compared to me manually doing it. I only wish there was an App for this unit like some of their more expensive models. It's not too big of a deal. I own a Harmony 650 remote and it works great with this unit.

does what it was intended, works well with Bluetooth and remote. I don't like or didn't realize it didn't have a second set of speaker inputs to choose. For example, I wanted to use it to drive speakers in another room for listening to music but can't do that. you have to keep all the speakers on to get music to other inputs.

I bought this stereo for my teenage son for music only (he does not have a TV in his room, nor will he ever in my house). This stereo is flat-out awesome! It can get extremely loud, yet the clarity is outstanding. If you are looking to buy a stereo - buy the Onkyo now! You can't beat the quality-to-price ratio.
