Was looking for an inexpensive component to run chrimecast through to use in my old tv that only has DVI input. Bought HDMI to DVI adapter for television and use component for sound.

Works perfectly and I was able to rid myself of my ancient RBG cables. Programmed the receiver functions into my Harmony remote and I have full capabilities. All functions run smoothly!

The receiver works great with my new Sony 4K 65 inch. With my home theater speakers for surround sound enjoyment I'm very pleased with this receiver I will purchase again if needed.

Function buttons on receiver could be better organized. One must toggle through to get the correct one. Same issue with the remote. Sound is excellent and video to TV is good, as well.

This replaced my 10 year old Onkyo that I use in my den. This one was extremely easy to set up, especially with the sound balance microphone that does the task of speaker balance.

The Sound quality is great and it has various HDMI ports. Keep in mind if you are not purchasing with the speakers as well...the subwoofer is an RCA port. Meaning if you have a lower end/older subwoofer you are pairing with the receiver then you wont be able to hook it up. Overall a pretty decent 4k receiver for the price. I do however have an issue when initially turning it on. Every time I have to turn it on...off...then back on again in order for the sound to function. Could just be an issue with the one I have.

This fit in perfect with my existing surround sound system when the old receiver when kaput. I loved the bluetooth option as well, a great product and caught it on sale!!

The product works great , and had all the features I wanted. Has Bluetooth , and I can even run my turntable with it. Plenty of room for speakers. Six , including sorround.

Easy set up and easy to use. Interface is very straightforward and Bluetooth connectivity is a cinch. Great value compared to higher priced models with the same specs.

Set up and use are easy using the included sheet. Provides good reception on FM stations and Bluetooth features make it great to adjust from outside for use on the deck.

It has all of the functionality I was looking for, and I was able to hook up all of my devices to it. I cranked up the sound on it and shook the house with sound!!!

Performs better than expected. Everything is labeled and easy to connect components. Set-up cable, game, DVD player, and surround sound system in about 10 minutes.

I bought this receiver for my son as a birthday gift. It sounds great for the price. I looked a several receivers abd I feel like I got the most bang for my buck.

I love the ease of use on Onkyo receivers. I t was simple to set up and make audio calibration adjustments. Not a lot of sub-menus to try to navigate through

I purchased this receiver based on the recommendation of the Best Buy employee. He said he liked it because it worked well and was easy to setup. Both of the those things turned out to be true! I had all the items we needed setup and running in less than an hour. Sound is very good through the speakers and it handles our few year old projector with no problem. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Worked perfectly with my 5.1 sorround sound! The Bluetooth feature is awesome too for when you just wanna listen to music without having to turn on the tv.

Was skeptical because was unfamiliar w/this brand. However after having it for a few months now, I'm glad I purchased it. Sound is great and price was right.

Finally made the upgrade from early 2000s receiver tech to this Onkyo digital receiver. Easy to configure and deploy all the inputs and outputs from speakers to HDMI to digital audio. Remote buttonology has some learning curve to it but be patient and practice to switch inputs, adjust 5.1 speaker inputs, figure out which Dolby/surround sound option is best, etc. Overall a great buy (BB deal of the day) and great upgrade for our entertainment at home! The unit's construction and heft convince us that it will be around for at least as long as the receiver it replaced.

Nothing fancy but works great. I used it to hook up a Blu-Ray/DVD player, X-box, and a surround sound speaker system that has two speakers in the roof.
