This unit does what it needs to do. I haven't figured out everything just yet. Programming my own personal equalizer settings is one of them. It comes with many presets. There is no audio line out to run the audio only to a separate location. Bluetooth works flawlessly. This box is big so read measurements before you plan on it fitting in your existing entertainment center. It was a great deal for the sale price.

This replaced a previous Onkyo receiver that did not support 4K. My last unit was overkill but this unit is sized exactly right for my situation. My installation is currently a 5.1, so did not need the 7.1 features of my prior unit. Ability to stream music directly to receiver is great new feature. Overall sound quality is excellent for a home theater and has more than adequate power. Excellent buy for the price.

This was an opened box product so I actually got much more then what i was shopping for. This is a rather complex home theater receiver, it has capabilities, which I did not have a chance to use yet. I basically connected it to just two front speakers and that is it. It has a capacity for surround sound and 6 speakers. It also has a blue tooth function, which is very handy. All in all I am happy with the sound quality.

We purchased this receiver to help with our audio in our living room (for TV surround sound and to stream music). It is generally easy to use and produces good sound.

This is the second onkyo receiver i have purchased from best buy. They are both just as sound and reliable as the higher priced brands. This one did not have a phono input which i assumed it did as the last one did. But the other one was priced higher. The sound quality is good and was easy to set up. I needed a little help with the more advance setups such as assigning inputs. Overall i am pleased with the receiver.

This receiver is a great value for the price. Onkyo was recommended to me over Sony and some other brands, and it did not disappoint. The receiver is mid power, but provides what I need for my 6 speaker and sub sound system. Radio, CDs, DVDs, Amazon streaming, and TV all work and sound great. One minor drawback is I could have used one more set of RCA ports, but I found a workaround. I would purchase again.

This model replaced my original Onkyo Home Theater Receiver. Setup was very easy and works with all of the components of my home theater. It gets the job done!

I really like this receiver. It has a bunch of great options and the Bluetooth is best when having a party and everyone want to play music from there phone.

Needed to replace a 2004 receiver that was hooked up to built in speakers in the ceiling. I am a 67 year old woman and needed something that was easy for me to connect, and this proved to be just that. With some guidance from an associate at best buy, I was successful in installing this unit. I now have the surround sound once again and enjoying my tv and movies along with music again.

I needed a new A/V Receiver for our Den HDTV set-up to replace an older Sony unit that had developed a "hum". This Onkyo unit distributes sound to my 5 speakers and subwoofer perfectly, and the labels for the different wiring ports make it pretty easy to set up since I have about 21 wires/cables going into the back of the unit. It was a good value, and does everything I need it to do!

Got an incredible price on an open box deal. It does the job, but the directions are really bad, especially if you're using the ARC - HDMI connections.

Are use the receiver for my home theater system it works perfect on the 4K cable’s that I put on are necessary Only complaint is that when you turn the system on it always defaults back to the TV source so you have to press the button for cable or DVD. The streaming capabilities are good sound is excellent I hooked it into a 5+1 home theater system with my own speakers

Love onkyo. This is my third receiver from them. My original from 2008 is still going strong. Like the interface and the power for this level receiver.

the unit can be connected to almost all types of media thru recent technologies, like Bluetooth. Didnot encounter difficulties during setup. But there is only 1 quick start guide in the package, and i cannot find advanced support even on the manufacture's website. Therefore, not sure how to use many features claimed. But still, it's a good product to fit all your home media center needs.

I was looking for a high quality sound system for my frequently visited workout room in the basement, to upgrade from an old boom box. High Fidelity "clean and crisp" Audio at a higher output was my desired objective for listening to my CD collection. I paired it with an Onkyo C-7030 CD player, also purchased from Best Buy, along with a nice old pair of Sansui speakers from the 80's that had been collecting dust and a new pair of JBL Studio 230's to bring out the highs. The Onkyo 5.1 offers expanded capabilities beyond my needs but produced the high grade watts per channel I was seeking. While I may be "old school", by wiring a system for CD's, my expectations for a sound quality experience are very high and all of my objectives have been met. From Led Zeppelin to James Taylor-it's all good now.

We are very happy with this receiver. We opted to go with a receiver instead of a wireless system because it was easier for the kids to operate and change between inputs and so we wouldn't have drops from a wifi on the wireless. It was easy to set up and it has worked great. We paired this with definitive technology speakers and we are happy with the overall sound.

I have owned several receivers over the years. I have owned Sony, Pioneer, and Yamaha. They seem to last a few years and need replacing. I had planned on buying another brand that I had previously owned, but chose this one based on the features- mainly Bluetooth. Works as advertised. Just as good as the higher priced receivers at a lower price. Would buy again.

Excellent value and so far quality is great. Wish the sound output to the sub was a bit stronger, but very easy to set up and use.
