I bought this for my home office. Wanted a basic receiver. Meets what I needed for a budget price.

Worked great with my existing speakers. Beginning to calibrate for room set up to get best sound

Very impressed with this receiver. Replaced a 20 year old Sony. Finally have an all HDMI setup with 4k passthrough for my new TV. On screen display setup is nice and easy. Easy one time pairing with the blue tooth. Went full Klipsch and they sound awsome. No pet peeves or complaints.

I was looking at high quality Bluetooth Speakers and found I could purchase this receiver with buetooth for about the same price ($189) and connect to my existing klipsch speakers. Sounds great streaming from my iPhone via Bluetooth, and also with an optical cable to my roku box.

Finally replaced my old receiver that didnt have HDMI. This was recommended to my by an employee in store, and its been great since. Works as expected, easy setup, etc. If i had to complain, Id say the display could look a bit better, reminds me of an old GM car stereo sometimes.

Bought this receiver to replace a 30 yr old Sony Receiver for a surround sound system. Could not connect Sony to a newer TV and wanted to improve sound. Have been satisfied with improvement and can use Direct TV remote to control both TV and and receiver. My wife loves it.

Onkyo - 700W 5.1-Ch. 4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through A/V Home Theater Receiver is easy to set up and connect. (if you can follow the simple instructions) the other components such as speakers, gaming systems etc. This is a Great Receiver with splendid sound quality.

The Onkyo is a good receiver. Nice sound, easy hookup. The only issue I have had is the lack of a second set of front speaker imputs for this unit. My older Sony which I replaced did have this ability. Other than that, a good unit for the price paid.

I great AV reciever for those on a budget who don't want to sacrifice quality.

OK, so this receiver has some new technology that I wasn't familiar with. But I have a new TV that it's compatible with, and since the primary purpose was home theater, I thought I'd try it. Couldn't get it to work. I got some BB associates to tell me what the instructions didn't, and I'm all set. With an open box price (guessing they couldn't figure it out either), I'm a happy dude.

This was recommended to me by an audio and video installer. After reading the reviews and comparing it to other comparable receivers I decided this was the best one for me. It's easier to use and the price was a lot more reasonably than the others.

Easy to set up. Love the pass through feature so just one cord to the TV

Lag when switching among source. Volume knob over kill ... you have to turn and turn to get volume up. Not too satisfied with the sound fields. One would expect more and sounds quality among them is very similar. For a low end receiver .. can't complain. It does what it is suppose to do but price should be in low hundred dollar mark considering other option for this priceline.

Prior to this purchase I owned a nice little Pioneer receiver for 9 years. When a channel went out on it, I started looking for a newer receiver that had wireless capacities. After a lot of online comparing, I decided to look at two different recievers, this one included. (on sale at the time under $300) At the store, I found out the only difference between this one and the one priced well over twice this much was the capacity to run the other one in more than one room at a time basically. That was something I didn't need, so opted to save the $$. This receiver has exceeded my expectations with quality sound & I love that I can play the songs from my iphone completely wireless.

Love listening to all my favorite TV shows and Movies thru my new system.

This is my 2nd onkyo receiver, works great, the Bluetooth is a plus..
