I replaced an old receiver that began to give electrical shocks. All I had to do is reinsert cables and speaker wires. Like that it increased the number of HDMI inputs from what I had previously. Plenty powerful for my needs.

Sound great low noise amp that compairs well to high end ones

My first receiver and I love it. Great product, simple and easy to use controls. Easy to straight forward setup design in the back. Used it to hook up all of my entertainment systems, Xbox, Cable, PS4, Turntable and Tv

good receiver for the $ setup was decent- it wasn't hard, but there were some things to adjust to make it sound better. I had trouble getting my sub to work but after a little research I got it to work and the system sounds awesome!

Harman kardon has always been my first choice... Love their sound but always have had some kind of issues... Not one issue with this onkyo receiver and sounds great,, good power! Probably have a future new member from now on!

I love this Onkyo receiver. The sound is amazing and I now have everything running through it since it has multiple hdmi ports. I even upgrated to all Onkyo surround speakers and now my living room is like the movie theater.

This amplifier/receiver works well and has a lot of features. The only downfall I found is that it has a lot of delay before the sound comes on- close to 10 seconds. Otherwise the sound is good and it easy to operate and hook up.

Very plain, very basic. The key features are there. easy to use. Image and sound are very well reproduced. Considering the price is a very good purchase. No major differences with the cool and fancy receivers up to to 4k

Great System, hooked up to an old set of Bose Speakers and house now shakes. Use the easy to hook up system all the time for tv shows and my PS4 which sounds amazing nothing like I have heard before with my old JVC setup.

Upgraded from an older Onkyo receiver and very pleased with the performance thus far. Easy switching between HDMI sources, very user friendly and of course great sound. Hard to beat for the price - highly recommend.

Very good price and performance. This receiver has 5 speaker output with enough power, easy connected Bluetooth input that can stream online music to this system by apple device and Android cellphone. I love this unit.

I purchased this receiver to use in a basic stereo setting. I set it up with 2 in wall speakers and the Polk PSW 108 Subwoofer. The sound is exactly what I was looking for and the bluetooth feature is great as well.

Great receiver, easy to work and set up programs great

We have in-ceiling mounted speakers (5 in all) and wanted the movie theater sound effects. This receiver does that and set up was straightforward. I am not tech-savvy and it was a pleasure working with this product.

I purchased this to replace my Pioneer receiver which only lasted 3 years. I decided against Pioneer again for obvious reasons and am happy so far with it, it has only been 1 month. This one came with a 2 year manufacturers warranty versus just a 1 year one with the Pioneer, they obviously stand behind their products.

I made my purchase 1/2018 and it was the best priced receiver I could find of that brand and model; however, I replaced my previous 7 channel Onkyo HT-S6200 that came with a speaker set. After purchasing my new receiver I thought it met the specs came with the speaker set from my previous receiver. Since I only used 5 out of the 7 speakers with the original system I assumed that it would have enough output to push these speakers @ 130 Watts/Channel @ 6ohms / Submoofer 10" 290Watt, but called Onkyo and it appears they are incompatible... That would be the downside, as it appears I missed the deadline to return and purchase a different model Onkyo that suits the speaker sound system which is excellent.

This is one awesome receiver. Easy to connect to my speakers, tv, DVD and CD players. The different sound/speaker options are great. I can even connect my tablet using Bluetooth. Best sound in the business.

I had to get a new receiver bc the one I got in 1993 finally died and I didn't want to get it fixed. I'm so happy with the power and sound that it puts out. Next hope is the wife lets me get some cerwin vegas!
