Onkyo has always been at forefront of evolving network receivers. The TX-NR-555 has great streaming abilities, as well as it's other receiver specs. If you like complete info on streaming artists on the receiver's display and tv screen, then this model is for you.

I waited for quite a a while to get a new receiver. This one has all the power and functionality I need, and it sounds incredible both with music and movies. I have found very few drawbacks with this receiver, and would highly recommend it.

I was unsure about whether or not to purchase this receiver. I had a Denon, but wanted a more surround sound with a thump. Hands down Onkyo was the better choice. I love it. It fills the room with such a crisp and rich sound. It's my new favorite toy.

I purchased this receiver for less than $300 on sale and for the money, it is worth it. Easy to set up. Solid sound stage. Lots of HDMI ports. Easy interface. I have bought Yamaha's for 15 years, this is my first Onkyo. Very happy I made the switch.

Took several days to decide what receiver to buy. Finally chose this one. Love that I can hook a CD player and turntable in. With the ability to stream Pandora through this it allows me to enjoy all my music choices. Great for entertaining guests,

Said goodbye to my 23 year Onkyo and glad I purchased this. All my music from on my iPhone, radio, and directv, controlled with the app on my phone. Can play music in the house from radio and different music from phone outside by the pool I love it.

This is a great receiver. Easy to setup and I especially like that there are two different zones, so I can enjoy the outdoor speakers by the pool.

We needed a 4K receiver that will pass through HDR and this was one of the most affordable ones we could find. Its my first Onkyo and its been great so far, fairly easy to set up.

The ease of set up and how it will set up your surround sound speakers for the optimal sound by plugging in the microphone that comes with it and pushing a button and if you change the set up of the room you can do the process again.

I have several Onkyo products, they never disappoint. The clarity, even at high volume, is incredible. I have never had an Onkyo die on me. Quality product all the way. I will never own anything else in the terms of home audio.

Sounds good, has all the latest tech, and easy to setup.

Every single aspect is perfect. 6 hdmi inputs. I arranged it with a Yamaha speaker set 5.1. Just don't expect to use your wireless bluetooth headphones with it. You should use the wire in this case instead. I think 1/4'' Jack.

The reason I give this unit a 3 star is because the component connections only accept 480i source resolutions meaning it won't accept 480p, 720p or 1080i through component. Learned this the hard way as I was wanting to connect both my Xbox and Wii via component and had issues with the immage on my TV. So unfortunately even though it has component in and HDMI out to the TV it doesn't fully convert the image. I had to buy a component to HDMI converter to get the 480p, 720p and 1080i signal to my tv from my game systems. Otherwise everything is work well and good. Like the various features it has for Wifi, bluetooth, pandora etc. The reason I have kept the unit too is because of how low on price the item was, if it wasn't at a low price I would have just returned the item back. So if you are hoping this will be a good receiver that has component connections to HDMI output, I have bad new for you as it is not!

My last Onkyo receiver lasted 14 wonderful years and we played it to death every day. I hope this one does as well. One neat new feature is the Zone 2 (although it was a bit tricky to set up). If you do not read the manual VERY CLOSELY you may find yourself locked into Zone 2 without knowing it. I thought my Remote had quit working. The manual is over 100 pages and this part is pretty far in the back. However, once conquered it allows one to play one device in one room and another in a different room at the same time!!! TV in the Family Room while Dinner Music is in the Dining Room. How Sweet!!!

I purchased this receiver from my local Best Buy on an open box deal. The receiver was in great shape and I am well pleased with all of the features, especially the Bluetooth and wireless network connection.

Nicely priced and had lots of connections both HDMI and RCA. Very versatile and comes with 2 antennas. Had to return first order which was open box because despite pristine new condition, a couple of accessories were missing. BB said to return, sent label and replacement sent immediately Great customer services.

I bought this to replace an older Onkyo TX-SR605. Plug and play. TX-NR555 has 6 HDMI inputs, Bluetooth capability for streaming music from your mobile device. Night mode.... Over all, awesome receiver. Easy to use.

Was shopping around for a receiver and looked at a lot of reviews also talked to a lot of people. After making my mind up I bought this one! No regrets! Love the system and works well with my 4K tv and Xbox one s!
