Nice upgrade

Great but not a good fit for my setup

Main issue was I have my embedded speaker hookups in another room/closet and to adjust the settings or volume id have to walk over to the closet each time. I replaced this receiver with one that had WiFi access and now can change volume and settings from my smartphone which is a huge quality of life difference.

No Dolby Atmos sound

Current firmware file is newer and older firmware for atmos is lower file number. The overall performance is nice, clean and powerful, but not having the Atmos sound field that I bought this receiver for is frustrating. I have contacted Onkyo, but so far no answer.

Just can't get it to sound good

Using the same speakers as before too, Plenty of power but doesn't cut it. Still like Onkyo just not this one
