Just what I wanted. I purchased this item for the exact reason I purchased it. I'm happy because this is what I wanted when I purchased this item.

Other than directly reducing the price of a purchase (or providing a cash rebate), a free gift card is the next best thing for lowering the price of a BestBuy purchase. According to the terms of the card, the value never expires, so one can keep it as long as it takes until the next BB purchase (or purchases). The only thing that would have made this more convenient would have been to be able to pick it up at the store - it was part of a "ship to store" order, but was mailed separately. I didn't have the option of including it in the pickup with the rest of the order.

Fun. Shipped free of charge. Good toward future purchases online and in U.S. or Puerto Rico Best Buy stores. Safeguards against theft protect your purchase. And, Best Buy gift cards do not have an expiration date.

The best buy gift card is very easy to use in store, online and over the phone. There is no complaint I can make on it.

I purchased a $100 dollar for a gift. No problem whatsoever when it was redeemed. I just may use a Best Buy Gift Certificate again.
