I read many many reviews and my biggest concern was video for gaming since I will soon be adding a golf simulator to my home theater... I would recommend a warranty extension since the bulb cost will be covered and these are a little costly...

Great projector but I decided on the benq 2050st gaming projector instead because there more colors on the benq so a little better on the picture. No rainbow effects on either one. The optoma had a better short throw by 2feet only. No lag on gaming on either one and they both look great but the Ben beats it my a inch on picture

Just what I was looking for. Bought this for my new house and have not regretted a thing only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the projector doesn't have an adjustable throw. My recommendation? Have a pro-install

Since i moved i sold my 42in and got this projector. its about 3 and a half feet from my wall an im getting a 5ftx7ft image. It blows out some heat so make sure you have good ventilation.

This is an amazing projector! With the right screen, the colors and brightness are amazing. Better, more expensive, projectors will do better jobs with colors. But this is amazing. I am also blown away by the 3D mode. I've tried 3D in stores with LCD/LED screens, and I get headaches. But that is not the case with this one. I bought this projector for gaming in my basement. But I'm also a 3D convert! I love the fact that this is a short-throw projector too. I never considered a projector before because I didn't want to deal with a regular throw projector. But now I wonder why anything is made that isn't short throw.

I was very happy with it till I compared it with Benq HT2150. It is close to $325 less, approx 65% price of Benq. Better short throw. I kept it around 4 ft in front of me. No noise to complain. Very bright and clear picture. It was my mistake that I thought of comparing with Benq HT2150. My suggestion is, if you don't want to pay the premium price, please don't compare it with others.

Going 6 years strong. It still shows a beautiful and bright image bi use it to watch cinematic movies on as well as gaming. It’s mainly a Netflix and gaming tv. It’s probably about 5 feet from the wall and casts a 120” picture. That’s close enough to use a normal tv stand for the projector and have a couch a good distance from your image. I remember the first year I got it I covered it with a blanket to protect it from dust. After the first time I did that the bulb shattered. I assume it had something to do with static electricity. I called up the company and they had me shop the projector to them for a free bulb replacement. All I paid was shipping. Great company with great products. Would definitely recommend.

I brought this projector after reviewing all ratings from bestbuy sites and everywhere online. This projector is great, I use it for gaming and movies. This originally was brought for Call of Duty Blackops 3. Glad I purchased this beast. There are many others but this is recommended for gaming. With the graphics in gaming in my book this is better than the high end models. Screen I have is the elite spectrum series-automatic. Proud of my decision with both products.

Excellent. Great picture and I love the short throw. This can be used in an apartment.
