Awesome concert, great performances
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've watched clips of this concert on youtube (well, the whole thing honestly) and it was an amazing show. Metallica are still playing as well as they did back during the Black Album Tour, meaning several notches above their performances in the late 90s and before St. Anger. Death Magnetic was the album fans were waiting for, a true return to form. This show is a great example of the band's endurance and showmanship. I haven't actually watched the DVD itself so I don't know anything about how well it was authored. My comments are just about the show itself, although I can say the rip came from the DVD and the video quality was great.
