I was planning to buy a waffle maker for a while (was reading reviews and tested a couple) and this Oster flip waffle maker is the best choice for me: first of all for some reasons I love round waffles (and they come out perfect), second and a big thing for me is this model doesn't take as much storage space as other more expensive makers I checked before. I like also that I can adjust the temperature (I like my waffle very light brown but my family members prefer more golden). It heats up quickly and cooks waffles very evenly. I'm very happy with my choice, and why did I wait for so long to buy it?

Oh im so excited to tell you i eat more waffles thanks to this kitchen tool. I like mine a bit crispier on the edges so you have to go beyond the cook cycle to your liking. You Can't pour too much batter in or it will overflow. That little drip plate could be easier to put in and cleaning it is a little hassle if you don't use cooking spray but other than that, it's a keeper! I make more than the traditional waffles in mine too. So explore and have fun.

I have use this about seven times since buying it and it's yet to disappoint me. Nothing sticks to it my waffles always come out amazing and even making cinnamon rolls in it makes it even better.

My son really wanted homemade waffles. I don't think I will make them often, but this ceramic waffle make looked like a good option. They offer a few recipes with the waffle maker. One includes corn starch to make the waffles crisp more. I found if I cooked them an extra minute that was enough to get some browning. It took longer to cook the waffles than the instructions described for the whole grain waffles recipe. I tried cooking on one side and then flipping to cook for a couple more minutes on the other side. This seemed to work better. I found four-five minutes on one side and then flipping over and cooking for an additional two-three minutes on the other side created the best waffle. If you are cooking for one or two people and allow time for the iron to heat up, this waffle iron is sufficient. If you are making waffles for many people I would plan time to bake multiple waffles or get a two sided waffle maker so you can cook two at once to cut down on the time.

Heats up fast and has indicator lights on both sides of flip waffle iron to let you know when iron is ready for batter and when waffle is ready to serve. Non-stick so you don't have to brush on oil and clean up is very easy. Also has tray to catch batter over-flow.

This unit heats up quickly and is very easy to use. The non stick surface is easy to clean, even though the plates are not removable. It makes great waffles!

I usually avoid kitchen appliances that can only do one job, but when this one went on sale shortly after a show on Food Network featuring chicken and waffles sent my children into a frenzy, I decided to pick this one up. It's performing surprisingly well especially for such an inexpensive appliance. It heats up quickly and produces golden brown, perfectly cooked waffles in fairly short order. I haven't had any problem with waffles sticking to the ceramic interior plates and clean up has been a breeze.

The waffle maker works like those commercial models found in many hotels. It makes pretty good waffles and cleans fairly easily. It is much better that the old traditional countertop model I had been using. The only reason I did not give it a 5 rating is because the non-stick coating did not work 100%. There were a few spots where the waffle stuck to the surface and I have to use a fork to get it off. Also, there is not a tight seal when closing and some of the batter leaks out making a mess.

Love the ceramic but wish the plates were removable for cleaning. Easy to use and takes up little space.

I wanted a waffle maker Best Buy had this offering, Took a while to understand how to make them light and what to use to make them exceptional. The oster is easy to use once you understand how. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS online. Hint do not overfill the waffle area. Another hint the best pre-made mix for. the best results - Krusteaz Belgian Waffle mix in most grocery stores. I tried several others with mixed results, but if you plan to eat a waffle at 450 calories - you might as well go with the best mix. Another feature Oster has is you can make a hamburger on the unit and other items as well - so kind of dual purpose grill as well. Easy clean up and for the price we paid a useful item in our kitchen. We make waffles at home when I get a hankering for them because they are always hot, and with a simple blueberry compote on top of the waffles (about 525 calories) - tastes fantastic.

Been looking for a minimum space Belgian Waffle Maker for over a year. Didn't know much about this waffle maker when I first purchased it. After 3 or 4 uses, it continues to deliver high -quality waffles and takes up little space on the kitchen counter.

The price was nice, the elegance was not , Worked flawless as you would want. Better then expected. worth the money. for the price and the boring dull look. you get more bang for your buck then you would expect.

I was looking for a waffle maker that wasn't messy and that is easy to use and the Oster DuraCeramic Flip Waffle Maker is definately that. It's so easy to use and clean. The price is also great.

Easy to use, well made, and makes anyone a waffle master! We've enjoyed this appliance for about a month now, and we haven't made a bad (over- or under-cooked) waffle yet! Fairly easy to clean, too.

I love how easy this is to clean up. We found with the ceramic coating, you don't need to spray the iron and it is still easy to clean up. You do have to turn the setting up pretty high to get a brown waffle. However, we are having so much fun discovering all the different ways to use the waffle maker. We've made omelets, quesadillas, biscuits, crescent rolls and cinnamon rolls. My daughter says this is the best way to make cinnamon rolls! There was some initial concern when we first started making items and learning how much to put in the waffle maker so it doesn't overflow. But it is easy to use and along with the ease in cleaning is great. Will be using this a lot in the summer instead of the oven.

Love this gadget. It is so easy to use. The lights tell you when to pour and when to flip to finish. Easy to clean. Takes up little space on the counter with the collapsible handle. I highly recommend. Makes several waffles in minutes and works well with a variety of mixes. You can even add nuts or fruits and the waffles come out perfect every time.

I've always wanted one of these and it has made perfect waffles every time. Easy to clean! Handle is a little loose since it collapses for easy storage but other than that, it is awesome!

Simple to use. Might take a few to get the hang of it. Cleans easily. My advice. Turn heat all the way up and wait for the steam to nearly stop. Waffle will be nice and crispy. If you judge by the green light it will be very soft.
