We have had this toaster for just over a month and it has worked fine, it does a great job of making your toast light to dark without any problem. Have tried it from low setting (toast is very lightly brown) to high setting (toast is very dark). Like I said, it a toaster and it toast just fine.

The toast handling size is slightly smaller than my previous toaster so I was a little disappointed. It does not handle the wider bread. The toast is also not as even as it could be. It's a good deal for the price but I don't know if I would pay full price for it.

It was the only basic toaster that was in black and I like the Oster brand so I was willing to try another one. The usual problems arise each time...it toasts one side of the bread better than the other side, and I suspect the handle won't stay down after a few years time like my first one. If you're looking for a basic inexpensive toaster this is it...if you're looking for long life...find another brand.

I picked this one in my Best Buy store. It's been working perfectly for a few months now. The price was very reasonable. The plastic lever (or handle) feels a bit unsubstantial, but I don't think it's going to fall off.
