I'm glad that I went with my gut. This is the best toaster that I've ever had, bar none! It toasts evenly and adjusts for the thickness or item toasting. Highly recommend!

It's pretty easy to use, and unlike even some of the *really* overpriced toasters/toaster ovens on the market, this one toasts the bread evenly on both sides.

YOU CAN LEAVE THE SETTING THE SAME FOR THICK OR THIN BREAD. WHEN DONE THE TOAST COMES UP ABOVE THE TOP, NO PICKING TO TRY AND GET THE BREAD OUT. IT IS ALSO CHEAPER BUT WORKS A LOT BETTER THAN EXPENSIVE ONES.

Other toasters I have had have overheated and stopped toasting too early and then not able to toast for a few minutes until cooled down.
