When it arrived and we used it for the first time it took a little bit of experimentation to figure out which settings worked best. But after a couple of tries the toast came out perfect.

I make toast every morning (literally EVERY morning), so this gets a lot of use. I bought this toaster years ago and loved using it every day. My daughter-in-law even has the same one. After years of daily use, the outside elements grew weaker and finally gave up. For the price I paid, I wasn't disappointed given the usage I got out of it. When it came time to replace it, I looked at other options but decided to come back to this unit again. It's been just as great as before and I'm really pleased that I went with the same model again.

Toasts quickly,consistantly and handles English muffins and bagels as well as bread. Have not tried a frozen item, but it has a special setting for that.

Our favorite feature is the frozen button option. We are a family that has to eat frozen Gluten-Free bread and this toaster makes perfectly toasted bread straight out of the freezer.
