Basic Toaster for home use

I am not satisfied with this purchase simply because it does not toast bread. It does heat it and warm it, but doesn't toast it. If you change the setting to "10 - darkest" it burns and sets off smoke detectors.

I wasnt expecting much for the price like the high end toasters with more features. Just toast bread and bagels and be somewhat durable. What I did not expect was it to break on the second day after using it maybe two or three times. The ejection system is flimsy. Think a thin wirey piece of metal that just bends vs any weight. It still cooks toast and gets it hot but I have to literally pull the bread out with my fingers. Since the slots are narrow and the toaster is hot that is a not so easy task. It's a cheap toaster but not even worth twenty dollars as it had no durability whatsoever. Avoid
