Cans are very hard to open and knife sharpener is not working good

It is very difficult to get it to open some cans. The can keeps popping off the mechanism so it isn't held in the proper location for the cutter to open.

It is a good kitchen too. Tall and powerful. Recommend.

Quite a nice little upgrade from a hand-operated unit. Just what we needed, as we keep losing the manual opener and the little gizmo. Very dependable and easy to use. You can't go wrong with one of these. Even if it costs a few extra bucks, you'll save time in searching for the manual openers.

Looks good, operates very quietly, works well. The can opener also moves around when used. That, I do not like. Otherwise it is a good product. I felt the price was a little high.

I've had quite a few of these over the years and they never last long. This one seems to be much better quality, smoother & quieter.

The color of the stainless is for sure not the same as my appliances or stainless toaster, however I just don't sit them next to each other. It's a much lighter color. The opener is fine for the price, but if you want one that is truly a more normal stainless color, spring for the more expensive.

I recommend you do not buy this can opener. I've tried to open different types of cans, it has trouble doing what it was made for. (not powerfull enough) As for the knife sharpner, It has only DULLED my knifes... I think the 'case' prevents the knife from 'reaching' the sharpening stone... THE sharpner is NOT mechanical it is two 'stones' tilted and mounted in the back... IF you can, I suggest you bring a can to try to open using the display model in the store and try it beore you buy it. If you can't try before you buy, I suggest you save the box and reciept. I should have saved the box so I could return it

The magnetic lid lifter for safe removal of lids really works well and easy to use. The Stainless-Steel look of the can operner is slick and looks great on my kitchen counter. Great price for the value

I bought this item and it was cheap, so I thought I would save the money instead of going with the Hamilton Beach opener. Big mistake. This only worked a couple of times and then it stripped out. It is now out of the return policy and I will have to buy the Hamilton Beach opener now.
