This movie was great, both the theatrical and unrated version. The delted scenes were hillarious, I wish they added a couple to the movie. The movie was long, I did lose focus for a while but then it brought me right back. The way they went about some jokes was just so unexpected that I could not help but laugh. This was a completely different role for Will Ferrel he played the quiet shy one, until he revealed his "dark" past and embraced it. Michael Keaton was great as their captain. Mark Walberg was hilalrious, especially when it came to Sheila (Eva Mendes). I bought it when it came out and have watched it at least 5 times since.

If you are a fan of Will Ferrell movies then you will like this movie. Its the same goofy humor seen in titles such as: Stepbrothers, Anchorman, The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Blades of Glory. I personally find all of these movies hysterical so The Other Guys was no different.

I must say that I purchased this movie because BestBuy had the Blu-Ray on sale for $12.99. But that being said, I really enjoyed it. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are great together. I am not the biggest Ferrell fan, because sometimes I think his acting is more stupid then funny, but he actually made me laugh in this one. Also, the Blu-Ray has several extras included.

At first I didn't think I was going to like this movie just for the fact that it has Mark Wahlberg in it. (I don't know, I just don't like his movies) but it took me by surprise at how funny Marky Mark can be. If you're a fan of Will Ferrell, you need this in your collection!

Will Ferrell and Marky Mark star in one of the funniest movies I've seen all year. I am a huge fan of both of them (exceptions of Marky Mark going on tour with New Kids On The Block and putting the final season of Entourage on hold). None the less this film is hilarious and very clever. If you don't love this movie you have a horrible since of humor. Think Cop Out, but less serious and more laughs or a modern day/funnier version of Starsky and Hutch.

The plot is a bit different, however if you are just in it for the laughs then buy it, Will F. and Mark W. are great together, and the movie has great moments in it that make you laugh out loud! If you have the intent of watching this with the family, beware of akward moments about adult themes....

Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg team up as cops in NY to produce a great comedy. Surprising cameos made by Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson. My favorite scene was when Eva Mendes' character was passing her mother back to Will's character to tell him provocative messages. Play this on a night in with your sweetheart or college roommates and you'll surely have a blast. If you enjoyed past Ferrel comedies, you'll likely enjoy this film.

this movie had me holding my sides in pain because i was laughing so hard and i'm usually very picky with comedies. Great to watch at least once. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are great! Props to Eva Mendes as well! Very funny!

I really enjoyed this movie. I was tempted to give it an average rating as I am not a will ferrel fan (I just dont find him that funny), but mark walberg was excellent in this. As was the supporting cast - eva mendez was excellent also. Definately worth a watch, with some cheap laughs in it. Just dont expect it to make my must watch list on a movie weekend, unless I am looking for cheap laughs.

a surprising comedy! Mark Wahlberg was hysterical. and Will Ferrel was at his finest. its a movie you have to go back and watch again because you missed so much more funny stuff because you were laughing so hard. and the digital copy is nice to have so i can get a funny fix in on a bad day out.

I love Mark Wahlberg's range in acting. He can be serious, he can be funny, he can be deadly, seriously, funny! Pair him up with Will Farrell, and OMG!! They are hysterically funny!! They are so opposite in the natural sense, but they worked together well in this comedy. I really enjoyed this film.

Movie was very good with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. I was disappointed the uncut version was the same as the theatrical version as I thought there was plenty of opportunity in the movie to exploit some uncut scenes. That is the only real disappointment with the movie.

I heard that this movie was funny but I didn't expect to get a new tag line from all of this. My new phase for 2011 is I'M A PEACOCK YOU GOTTA LET ME FLY. I also don't want a prius and hope not to find dirty mike and the boys leave me a message. Thank You Marky Mark. Opps I mean Mark .

When the time comes for Gamble and Hoitz to prove their mettle and save the day, their incompetence becomes the stuff of legend. Gamble and Hoitz: are the complete opposites, unwaveringly confident, they always get their man, and they do it with style to spare. Just funny all around

This movie is so funny. My husband & I saw it in theaters and couldn't wait until it came out on DVD. We watch it a lot, and laugh just as hard every time. It's a great ab workout watching this movie!

I have to say, this movie was much better than i expected. It had some great gags in it, Will Ferrell hilariously rambling on about tunas and tigers, and a line that my girlfriend and I quote to each other just to laugh.

Comedy is not typical, it's like watching an episode of Family Guy but non-animated. It's Hilarious!

I am not a big Will Ferrell fan, but he got me in this one. The movie is funny entertaining and spontaneous. Very pleasing to watch and you might even quote it at times.

This Movie is Hilarious I probably missed some of it because I was laughing so hard in the Theater.

You have to have a little bit of life experience to get all the jokes. Well made movie with smart humor. Good action and special affects. Watch it twice.
