This case provides great protection for the money. In comparison there are cases like the Speck that cost the same and do not offer even close to the same amount of protection.

I like this case a lot. It has a decent edge on it that is enough protection from your average fall. my only complaint would be that the plastic on the back is slippery.

I had the defender otter box before. However, I like the commuter much better because it's less bulky, but protects my phone just as well. The Otter Box cases are the best.

Only way I was upgrading my teenage kids iPhones was that had to use the OTTERBOX case ( tired of phones breaking). Because of the slim look and feel they do not mind having it.

I like this case because it does not add the bulk to the phone like a lot of the cases out there. I have dropped my phone with this case on and my phone survived!! Love it!!!!

This is a great case if you are looking for a case to protect your phone but not be overly bulky in your pocket. Also the rubber does not stretch like in the defender case.

I bought this Otterbox cover after I already had a crack in the screen of my iPhone - to keep it going as long as I could. Now, many months later, my phone has survived several drops and lots of wear and tear! I wish I had gotten this cover as soon as I got my phone.... the cheap cover I got the first time didn’t protect the covers well - and whamo! I am an Otterbox fan, now.

If you have an iPhone, you NEED an Otterbox! I drop my phone every day, and people around me freak out. I know my phone is ok though, because the Otterbox is a great case!

The commuter case is perfect for the iPhone. I have used one for every iPhone I have had, going back to the 3GS. It protects well, and doesn't add much bulk compared to others.

Love Otterbox cases. I buy them for all cell phones in my house. I've dropped my phone many, many times and never experienced any damage while the case was on the phone.

Otter box is the only protection I use when I need a phone cover. Not any other brand does my phone like OB. I recommend this to anybody when they purchase a new phone.

Got this for my daughter because she always drops her phone. Since we got this case she hasn't had any cracks in her phone.

Bought this for my teenage nephew who dropped and shattered the screen on both his iPod touch and iPhone 4. This case should prevent a replay of those two unfortunate events.

While technically not as durable as the defender, when you pair this case with a tempered glass screen protector (sold separately) I think you have more durability than the average consumer needs. Plus, this is much sleeker and prettier than the defender. I've been running the commuter/tempered glass combo since iPhone 5, and I've never had any problems. And I'm far from careful with my phone.

This is the 5th OtterBox product I have had and I wouldn't use any other case. I drop my phone all the time and this case is a life saver....well at least a screen saver!

This case has met all my expectations perfectly. I switched from the larger defender case which was too bulky and cumbersome. The commuter case is perfect for my needs.

Bought Otter for both phone and for iPad as needed the durability given kids who are always on the go. Have not been disappointed and durability has already been tested.
