It looks sturdy enough, but it doesn't have more of the added layers that the other Otterbox cases provide. That's probably why it's titled 'Commuter.' The 'Defender' cases might work better for those who really need that extra protection. Other than that, this case is kinda cute and does seem to be able to hold its own which is why I gave it 3 stars!

This one is super slim you can't even tell that you have an otterbox u til it falls and protects from shock damage and boynces around without harming your phone.
