Otter Box continues to put out a great product that provides outstanding protection for your phone. Love the grey contrast to my blue galaxy s8+. Initially sold the wrong size, but BEST BUY exchanged without box or receipt and priced matched lower price that I found online. Belt clip performs well. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

Been using this item on my phones for years. Has always provided great protection especially from incidental drops. Because of that I've never had a broken screen on my phone.

So while thinner than previous otterbox defender series, not sure I like that they did not include the built in screen protector in these defenders. Also, a magor issue I have is the hard case does not close all the way as does not "quite" fit the curved screen correctly, the rubber outside fixes this I hope. I guess I will know first time I drop it if it stays together or pops apart since bottom does not snap together

My experience with the Otterbox cases is about 200 pegs above excellent. I have used Otterboxs on every Samsung headset since the model S. My GSM Note 10+ 5G, with 1 TB of memory and 16 gigs of Ram, on T-Mobile isn't yet available. But, when it is, I know, for a fact, that it will continue in the high level of handset protection, that Otterbox users have grown to expect. PS: I wrote my thesis in Cellular Terminology and Technology, so I know a tiny little smidgen about cellular.

Whenever I buy a new phone, I never leave the store without securing it in a brand new otterbox case. These cases have protected all my smartphones since 2012.

As usual I purchased the ultimate protection for my new phone. Have always had great luck with Otterboxes. It fits great on the phone and does its job well. Only gripes is that it doesnt have screen protector for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, otherwise perfect. The edge slide does kind of become a pain though.

Love the otter box defender series. Protects the phone like no other & the belt clip with stand is an added bonus. Only problem is no screen protector for s8+

The Otterbox defender series has always been my go to for all devices (as long as they make a case for the specific device) and my Galaxy S8+ was no different. The case is great at protecting against short falls, bumps and dings, though I'm still leary about 5-6ft drops (just the person I am). The one thing that always knocks a star off the item review-wise for me is that the cases to this day are still way too bulky. Carrying my 8+ around in an otterbox seriously makes people wonder if I'm carrying a brick around for the fun of it.

This case has the Otterbox quality I've come to expect but I'm disappointed in Best Buy's claim that it included a screen protector - it doesn't. Otterbox does not offer one on their site and Amazon states in all caps: "NO SCREEN PROTECTOR INCLUDED". The reason I chose Best Buy was that in two separate descriptions, both their website and the link provided in my email confirmation, states that a screen protector IS INCLUDED. Well?

I originally purchase the commuter otter box but didn't like it. I returned it and bought the defender. I feel I have a much better grip with this box. I do not have a fear that it will slip out of my hand or pocket. It seems like it protects my phone much better than the commuter did. I had a defender with my Samsung galaxy 5 and it protected it it perfectly.

Otterbox has a reputation for providing rugged protection, but omits the screen protector on this version. Moreover, it's still priced like the older models that included the screen protector on the Defender series. If it wasn't $30 on Black Friday, I would have opted for a cheaper Otterbox-like case.

I like the case, the cover with belt clip I do not use. It feels like it keeps my phone well protected. The case holds well in my hand and it does not interfere with the screen. The rubber sides occasionally come off when I pull it out of my pocket at a hard angle. It is difficult to remove the case, but I rarely ever remove it. That's why I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Have had an Otter box on my last 3 phones, I absolutely swear by them. I am in construction, and my phones always take a beating. The Otter box has always done it's job and protected my phones! This time around though, Otter box has given up on the screen protector portion of it's case. This I am disappointed in..... now time to find an adequate screen protector.

This phone case is fantastic for anyone that owns a Galaxy S8+, as it has adequate protection from the usual drops that may occur while owning such an expensive phone. Do note though, that this does NOT come with a screen protector. That didn't deter me from buying this though.

Love Otter Box products. This particular case has a good color combination and isn't too bulky like some of the other Defender series cases for other phones. The rubber casing around the case helps from the phone sliding around.
