Good phone protection. Fits snuggly. Doesn't interfere with phone buttons.

This case fits great. My only issue it that there is no screen protector.

I have heard such good things about the protection this case provides. That could be true. Fortunately I haven't had the misfortune to test this. However, I am very disappointed that my Samsung wireless charger can't charge through the case. When I take off the hardshell, my phone can charge. Both the inner soft case and outer hard case are difficult to put on and take off.

Protective case and not very bulky and protected phone when dropped

A little bulky and takes some effort to get the phone in, but once done it offers great protection.

This OtterBox fit perfectly and protects the phone very good!

I did my research before buying it, even though I put an otter box on all my phones. The defender case is perfect for quality protection, and not to bulky or I might just be accustomed to big phones with defender cases. Only downfall is the defender case for this phone doesn't come with the built in screen protector "bc of full screen design". They offer for an addition $40-$50 a tempered glass screen protector that's supposed to work with the case. After reading multiple reviews on that it is a waste of money. If you want to spend the money for a defender case, and additional money for the tempered glass, you mine as well spend the $100 on a life proof case. Overall I'm happy, and took away 1 star for the built in screen protector no longer being part of the defender case, and them wanting you to buy a separate screen protector. Returned one of the 2 black cases for the gray and blue case. I'm not a fan of having an expensive sleek phone with a solid black blah case to protect it

Provides superior protection against drops. Not too bulky.

I dropped the phone a couple times from low heights (less than 3 feet) and no issues. I've had it for about a month now. The buttons are pretty stiff and I hope they loosen up a bit. Otherwise, it does what it says. Don't know about water resistance or anything like that and I don't plan on finding out! If you have strong fingers and hands, this is a great case. If you have a weaker grip, maybe try a different product.

great case fits well, protects fragile glass. nice design

This is worth it's weight in gold. You can buy cheaper versions but I'd rather pay a bit more up front to protect my phone investment now that phone prices are through the roof. Love that they got rid of the plastic, clear phone face cover-up used to get so dirty and was hard to clean. Now you can save it bare or buy a Zagg cover.

Unlike most otterbox defender cases this one doesn't add too much extra bulk. The curved screen design forced them to go without a screen protector but it still delivers great protection for your phone.

Great Case fits perfect nice grip to it. Has good bumpers when setting face down. Only down fall is there is no screen protector built in and its hard on screen protectors already broke one due to case hugging it.

I recently updated my phone from a Samsung Galaxy S4 to the Samsung Galaxy S8+. I purchased an Otter Box, Defender Series for my old phone years ago. That case proved to be a phone saver on several occasions, so I bought an Otter Box, Defender Series for my new Samsung S8+. My case did not come with a screen protector/cover like my first Otter Box case did. After I put my S8+ in the Otter Box case, I felt I wanted the added protection of a screen protector/cover. I just purchased a glass cover to use with this Otter Box, Defender Series case. I am satisfied with the value of my Otter Box purchase through Best Buy. At the time I was shopping for an Otter Box case, Best Buy had the lowest price I found.

The OtterBox Defender Series is the best protection you can get for your phone in my opinion. The 3 piece construction is a little cumbersome if you need to get at your phone, but it is well worth it in the protection it provides your device. I prefer the Defender Series because it comes with the belt-clip holster so you never have to worry about sitting on your phone or having it slip out of your pocket. I trust OtterBox so much with my Galaxy phones (I'm on my 4th different model with the S8+) I would never consider any other brand and I even use an OtterBox on my Samsung Tablet. I am a little nervous that the S8+ case does not come with the protective screen shield like it did for my S7 Edge and my S5 so we'll see how it goes.

Makes it a little bulkier but great protection luv

One of the few cases I felt worthy of my S8 Plus. Pros: All round protection. Although I don't holster on my belt, I carry my phone around with the holster case attached to protect the screen. Ends curve up and provide clearance between screen and surface the phone may be placed on; could prevent damage to screen i.e. scratches. Samsung's convertible fast wireless charger appears to work through this case (Best buy Rep kindly demonstrated in the store). Finicky though as it would not charge in upright mode. Opening in the back makes it easy to locate the fingerprint sensor without smudging the camera lens. Cons: Requires removal for Occulus. Tab protecting charging opening appears to press (forcibly) against the charger when connected to phone. May not amount to much but it's an observation. Slightly bulky in my opinion but it's to be expected with this level of layered protection.

Fits the S8+ perfectly. Does add a little bulk but well worth it for a $800+ phone. Case is kind of slippery at first but the more you use it the better it gets. Does cause minor issues with wireless charger stands. You have to line your phone up perfectly for it to work. No problems on wireless charging pads!
