I bought a new Note 4 and of course I needed some kind of protection for it. I have always used an OtterBox. This time I went with the Defender series to protect my investment. Its a great fit. The feel and grip in my hands is great. It does however make a big phone even bigger. The only complaints I have about it are its cost and the screen protector. There is nothing cheap about this case but I feel its a little expensive for what it is. The screen protector is built in and sometimes feels like I am pushing on a cushion of air before I get a solid touch. Some people have removed this and went to a separate protector but it has not bothered enough to try. Overall I am pleased with how it protects my phone. I have dropped it several times already and not a scratch on my phone. Another great OtterBox.

I have owned many phones and have had many different cases and have always kept coming back to the Otterbox for its durability and protection it offers my phone. I'm a klutz and drop my phone at least 4 times a day and my Otterbox has kept my phone safe from damage of any kind. Both external and internal. I figured for sure the internal parts would jiggle around in there and my phone would eventually go haywire but it hasn't so far on any of my phones. It had a nice rubberized grip on the outside which makes it easier to hold on to (i would drop it a whole lot more without it), the hard case inside keeps the phone wrapped up snug so it doesn't shift around (no wiggle room for drops). One thing I've noticed from the earlier versions of Otterbox cases is the rubber stays intact and doesn't stretch out anymore. My only gripe is that the plastic case is hard to take off unless you know what you're doing. The good thing about this product is that if you register it it comes with a lifetime warranty. Other cases as far as I'm aware don't offer that. Otterbox I will always use you as long as you make a case for the phone I have!

So I purchased this otterbox case after having it on my previous phone and it worked very good. I haven't been dissapointed by this case. I have dropped the phone a couple of times and this case has saved the phone several times. The screen protector/covet is a nice feature too and doesn't add any resistance either. The only complaint that I would have for this case is that the belt clip makes this case feel fairly large and awkward and that the screen protector lets dust or dirt get between the screen and the protector since the home button is open. You have to take the case off the phone to clean it out as even canned air won't blow the dust out as there static to it. Other than the holster and dust behind the screen though it is working excellent protecting my phone and keeping it looking new. Would by again.

If you don't mind the added bulk to your Note4 then you'll be happy with the case. It make the phone about 3 times thicker and feels like 4 times heavier. Build quality is nice. I didn't like the plastic screen cover that came with the case so I peeled it out of the frame and put a smooth glass screen protector on my Note4 instead. Also, this case will cause a lot of lint/grime/dirt build-up around the seams/edges, so you'll need to take the phone out to clean it every so often. The rubber case on mine started to fade a little after I cleaned it with warm water and dawn dish soap. All in all I would buy this again for the protection it offers.

great phone case, protects phone well. It is a little bulky, and does not protect against water. Easy to grip.

Each time I've purchased an android/smart phone, I always purchase an Otterbox covering for it. I have purchased 3 so far and I have never had any problems. Since my phone is bigger than most phones, I can't carry it in my pocket and in most cases, there are no pockets in my purse big enough to hold the phone, so I have to keep my phone with the other items in my purse, such as keys, pens, lotions, etc. and the otterbox protects my phone from scratches, moisture, etc. I very seldom drop my phone, but if I do, I know it is protected b/c of the hard covering on the outside and the extra padding on the inside. I only wish the old otterbox protectors would fit the new phones b/c they are in perfect condition and I have no use for them once I purchase a new phone. I tell everyone they should buy one b/c I know many people who have dropped their phones and the screens are shattered. Each time I purchase a new phone, my old phone is always in mint condition b/c of the otterbox protector I use on each phone. They are pretty expensive, but worth every penny.

The old otter box cases were bulky and heavy. this case is slimmer and thin. Comes with belt clip and etc. Screen protector not needed. Lifeproof cases are the only comparable one to consider. Except it doesn't come with the belt clip as this case does. Worth the money to keep phone protected.

I've used the Otterbox phone cases on other phones and switched over to Trident as the Trident offered a thicker, more protective case for the phone I had at the time. I tried the Trident case for the Note 4 and returned it as the Otterbox Defender was just a better case. Thick rubber, good latch on the belt carrier. My only problem was using the Invisiglass screen protector with the built in Otterbox screen protector. I ended up removing the Otterbox screen overlay and it fit the Note 4 perfectly.

This case is so durable and slim it doesnt make the phone feel too bulky with a case on. I have a 4 year old that likes to play on my phone and I would not think twice about handing him my phone as this is seriously indestructable. Made of hard rubber and protects the phone to the max.

I would not go anywhere without this case on my phone. I love how it fits and feels on my phone. I have dropped my phone a couple times and this case has done it's job well. I do wish though that OtterBox would have put a protected flap over the S Pen securing it in place.

The Otter Box is a great product that gives me confidence that if I drop my Galaxy Note 4 it will be protected. The belt clip gives me a convient way to carry my phone. This phone does not fit in my pocket very well

If you have ever had these cases for any other phone, you know they are tough cases. I have only one really minor grip about the protection of the screen. The clear plastic doesn't sit flush and leaves a small gap underneath that can effect use of the s-pen.

Great case for the money got it on sale for 39.99 and it protects my wife's phone great is a little bulky but not bad at all would defiantly recommend getting

This is an excellent case. Has built in screen protector, and the case also improves the grip of the phone which reduces the possibility of an accidental drop.

Very great case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It adds great protection from drops and is comfortable to hold. Very pleased with this case.

I've never dropped my phone before (Note 4). However, I started using in my job and have to hand it to strangers for them to sign their name on the screen when I deliver packages. Since I started the job, the phone has been dropped at least 6 times (on concrete, asphalt and other hard surfaces) with absolutely NO damage at all! Fantastic protection!

Fits great. All features of the phone still work unhampered. Like the charge port being big enough to have extra space around it - easy to get plugged in. Well protected and doesn't take away from the phone. The price tag is up there above most cases, but I wanted a quality case for my new phone. Wasn't disappointed.

Great protection, very comfortable and practical, love the clip/stand combo. The only very small complaint I have, and I have no idea if its just in relation to this phone, or if its all otterboxs, but dust does have the ability to get in between the plastic screen layer, and the phone itself. Because the Note 4 has the single "home" button at the bottom, the plastic has a cutout for it, and thats how the dust gets in. Apple phones have a similar style. Again, its definitely not make or break, just a small observation. Was able to snag this for $28, a far stretch from the retail $60 it was listed at. Cant beat Best Buys price match.

I have had little luck finding many cases out there for the Galaxy Note 4. I am very hard on a phone and use it all day long both for my job and personal use. I have managed to scratch the front of the case but other than that it has survived being dropped, kicked, painted & dropped in a snow drift and the phone is still working good as new. I would prefer if it had a kickstand but I think I'm the only person who still is looking for that feature anymore. My only other con would be that it did significantly increase the overall size of an already large phone. A fair trade for great protection in my case though.
