Excellent protection dir accidental drips and scratches. Has a cool apple pen holder. The screen film collects excessive dust making screen appear dirty. The back stand was hard to close most times and eventually broke loose and won’t stand again. Would still buy again for my son.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this OtterBox case saved my iPad from a flying leap off the kitchen counter, a fall off the car seat, and an incident involving a very curious cat. It’s basically my iPad’s bodyguard — rugged, reliable, and not afraid to take a few hits. Feels great in the hand, buttons click like a dream, and the built-in stand makes Zoom calls look way more professional than I actually am. Is it bulky? Yes. Does my iPad now look like it’s training for a space mission? Also yes. But am I ever worried about a scratch? Never again. If my iPad had feelings, it would definitely be writing this review itself, thanking me for this armor.

Great case for protection. It is an OB. Problem is the sliding plastic piece used to stand the IPAD up. It has two very tiny plastic pegs on each side that anchors the stand in place. On broke. I could use, though the other peg would come out and was hard to get it lined up right. Then that peg broke and now the stand is useless. I am a couple of weeks past the point of being able to return it. If you don’t use the stand, it is great for protection. Headed out to get another one.

The case itself is what you expect from Otter box. Good sturdy and has a built in screen cover. It will protect the iPad fair enough. The bad is the stand part is very flimsy and has already broken. Also the chore of cleaning the case when things like dirt or lint get under te screen protector requires you to take everything off This is over priced. I would have been better served getting an Amazon product.

I purchased this and was told that it would work for my new iPad Pro 13-inch product. There is no camera view from the front. The 2-part base cover needs to be removed or reversed for camera view when taking pictures. The 'stand' on the back of the covers fails to lock back into place after only six months of use. Fairly pricey purchase and dissappointed with this well know brand.

The case for the IPad seems secure and strong. The outer case seem a bit fragile. The stand you definitely want to be careful with

Great outer box protector for iPad Air. I wish it wasn’t so bulky but overall I really feel my iPad is going to be well protected.

So I got this case to take care of my iPad does what it’s supposed to is it a little pricey yes but remember you paid a lot for your iPad Air why not give it the best defensive case ever in my opinion outer box has always been the go to it gets a job done and last you a long time so in case in the future, you wanna sell your iPad Air just know in the meantime, your iPad Air is in good hands it covers everything.

This case was perfect for a new iPad that we had purchased. Snug, but not too hard to take off. Not ultra heavy so it’s pretty mobile and easy to take places. I’ll be buying more of these in the future if I ever need to upgrade iPads again.

OtterBox has been my go-to brand for over 2 decades when it comes to my family's phones. Naturally, upon buying the new iPad Air 13" in January, I purchased the Defender case to protect it. 6 weeks in, the stand broke. Despite repeated attempts to get OtterBox to replace the defective stand under warranty, always emailing a picture of the broken part along with a post-it note of the date next to it as required, OtterBox's customer service continues to tell me that I need to send a better picture. The entire stand is broken, from the sides grooves to the bridge that holds the stand in place. I have even emailed a video to no avail. After a week of trying to email customer service, I have given up and resorted to calling their customer service number. The only problem is, each time I call, there is over an hour wait in the queue. Enough is enough. I am done with this brand. The stand's design in flawed from the start. I should have trusted the other negative reviews that are out there, but instead based my decision on my past experience with OtterBox. Boy do I regret doing that as the other reviews hit the problem right on the head. The stand is now totally useless and is incapable of keeping the iPad up on its own. What a waste considering the price point for the case. Trust this review and the others out there that share the same issues in order to avoid the frustration that I am feeling at this moment.

Great protection for the ipad. The only con I will give this is the stand has to be removed from the device to take pictures.

Great case for the ipad. It makes it easier to hold the ipad without it being very slippery. It has a great grip and when i have dropped the ipad on accident it never broke, because the case is very durable

OtterBox offers the best protection. The stand works but would be better if it was adjustable so that the position was more reclined.

This was the smartest purchase I've made in a very long time. Within a day of putting this on the new iPad i got my son- who is special needs btw- he pushed the iPad on the floor- it was on carpet but i was very thankful that the OtterBox was on the iPad to protect it. I never had an OtterBox case before on any devices but i know people that have and they've been recommended which is why i got it, and I'm very thankful that I did.

Very impressed on the speed and the pictures are crystal clear, iPad is light weight compared to older model

My husband can be very rough on his electronics, especially his phone so when I purchased his iPad, I knew that I had to get something that was durable and also propped up his iPad and this did exactly that! This is a must have if you want to keep your iPad safe And free from scratches and costly expenses to get it fixed!!

Otterbox is the way to go to protect all your devices.

Easy to use, love the different screams I can have up at one time, I don't have to click off one to see the other, I can do multiple tasks on one screen if that makes sense that you.

Bought this product for my nephew who is pretty hard on his electronics and this seems to do the trick!
