I've owned the case for about 5 months now. My only issue is that the outer case which is purple and rubbery in texture is beginning to stretch and not sit properly in the grooves of the inner case that is of a lighter purple. I'm also noticing some stretching around the camera as well. Other than that ...I would've given it 5 stars.

The Otter Box gives me just what I want in a protective case: study feel, securely bound to its holster, easy to get to, confident that it will stay in place. A little heavier than the plain cases, but definitely not flimsy or floppy. A very good product.

I've tried many different cases and Otterbox provides the best protection, fit, and longevity. Otterbox cases are a little bulky and significantly increase the thickness of a phone but it's a small price to pay for the protection they provide. I've broken several phones but I've never damaged a phone in an Otterbox case. The first thing I purchase when buying a new phone is an Otterbox case. If you are hard on phones like me then an Otterbox is a must!

Has material to absorb shocks and outer rigid cover over that offer very good protection for routine drops. Very grippy outer covering material (hasn't slid out of my pocket once). Not as bulky as previous models. Screen itself is not covered by plastic, but this makes it easier to use the screen, and the case itself wraps around all sides of the screen so the screen is protected if it lands on a side edge or corner. Very happy with it, a good compromise between very good protection with minimal bulk.

Purchased this OtterBox to protect my S9, and I am so glad I didn't let price dictate my decision. Great grip in my hand, no worries about this slipping and flying 10'. Fits perfectly. My only issue, if it is one, is that the bottom covers for the power cord and ear jack are a little difficult for me to pop open. At least I know they won't accidentally open and break. Highly recommend.

The case was easy to apply over my phone and feels great in your hand. The texture gives good grip witout being rough. Getting used to the holster took a few days, my previous case on my old phone used a spring for the retaining leg so it was easier to remove the phone with one hand. This holster is one molded piece so it takes a bit more pressure to lift the retaining leg and i find myself using one hand on the phone and the other on the holster. Been great so far and is not bulky

This box is 3 pieces. The inside case is two pieces to wrap around the phone, then the whole assembly fits into the outside shell. I had a problem with the screen protector that I bought separately. The S9 phone has the curved edge, and the screen protector I bought also had curved edges, but the Otterbox is so tight that it pops the edges of the screen protector off. So I'm using the phone in the Otterbox without the screen protector.

I was torn between the Life Proof, Otter Box, and one other case. I am hard on phones and needed something to protect against falls but not be bulky. Life Proof adds not need water proofing and is bulky. That other case did not have the drop protection but was slimmer. Otter Box is the best of both worlds. The port covering the charging port is a bit tight to open but with wireless charging you don't need to open it. (Wireless charging will work.) You still get full screen access but the lips are raised enough to protect the screen. The case does not affect the speakers or mic. The phone is loud, S9, and the mic has no trouble picking up sound. Great case at a good price.

Purchased this Otter Box for my new Samsung S9. I have always used Otter Box cases for my android devices and have never had an issue wit broken screens from drops. This case fits perfectly and is somewhat lighter than previous Defender cases.

The Defender OtterBox is easy to install and provides super protection for my phone, especially when I am working outdoors. The included belt clip is a nice plus, too, and keeps the phone securely attached and out of the way.

We are faithful Otterbox people in my family. We never leave the store without one on our new phones. It is always the Defender series we get because of the screen protection. We were devastated to learn they did away with it. Now it's a battle to find the right protection. We have one that keeps popping off because of the case so we will have to argue the issue of a different one. All could have been avoided if the screen protector was still built in. That's the only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5.

Fits the phone well. Provides excellent shock absorption. Belt clip is just what I need and doubles as a stand. Only negative is it's hard to open the port covers. Otherwise, it's a great product.

This case is built well, provides great protection for my phone and is easy to carry with the included belt clip. My only complaint is I wish the Defender series cases still came with screen covers.

This is my 1st Otter Box Case and it's for my new Galaxy S9. Only thing it didn't have was a screen protector included. The case fit was on the mark and very easy to attach

Had an Otter Box on my S5 and loved it. It was run over by a car and while the LCD did crack it held the screen in place without obliterating the screen and I was able to have a new screen installed and retrieve all my contacts. The one for my S9 appears to be every bit as good and probably better. It seems to fit the phone even more tightly than the one for my S5 did. Plus, it has a belt clip so I don't have to carry it in my pocket which I hated doing with my S5.

My otter box is a great investment. Just recently, I dropped my new Samsung 9 phone and was worried that I had broken it. To my great relief, the otter box saved my phone. I was so thankful to have such a great product. When I purchased my first phone, my son said I could not leave the building without purchasing an otter box to protect the phone. I am certainly glad that I listened to my son. The otter box has already saved me lots of money. It is well worth the cost!

My Otter Box has saved my butt more than once when I have dropped my phone. It it light and not bulky. I cant thank Otter Box enough for making a quality product.

It fits well and very protective. I like the color and it’s not heavy.

Purchased @ Weeks ago. I have used OB Defender on my phones, 3 total in past 6 years. Protection is great. I have it on an galaxy S9(edged screen) the sides do not flare up on these models as it would interfere with the edge of the screen. It does have a flare lip on the top and bottom so if you place it face down the screen does not touch the surface. This model does not have a plastic screen as previous models

Fits and protects my phone perfectly. Good look on the phone and not to bulky.
