I got this case about a week ago, had it on my phone for only 2-3 days & the plastic flap that covers the charger port is already starting to fall off :/ it’s a good case overall for safety features, however, I’m a bit disappointed due to the plastic already breaking for only been used for a few days! Is there a way to fix this?? Do I contact outter box directly? You would think it wouldn’t start breaking until a couple months at least...

Used Only two weeks and the rubber which covers the charging point is already cut. Disappointed why I wasted $85 on this cheap quality case.

This is by far one of the best and most sleek iPhone cases i have ever purchased. I hate bulky phones but i can't stand cheap cases but this is the best of both worlds. it offers great drop protection and have the bulky feel. it offers a clear back to and easy wireless charging. Best case i have ever had on my many iPhones

Ok, so I bought this case as soon as I got my iPhone XS Max on the mailbox. It’s been almost 2 years, and if you are thinking about buying this case let me tell you, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED, PERIOD. I have tried other case, some over $100 and somehow I don’t last one day with it and put this sucker back on. I don’t do that cover my screen with films or fancy second screen gadgets no more, takes the beauty of the screen quality away, I used glasses lol... No screen protection but everything else all around is protected and where the camera goes another gap for awesome picture moments. Charging port is protected with rubber case, and it has not been damaged in any way, I dont let toddlers use my phone unless its properly secured lol. I have dropped this phone by accident and on purpose to show off to my friends, not one dent on my iPhone, screen is basically perfect condition for 2 year use. This is the AWESOME PART, that wireless charging feature, only this case keeps it. Every other case I tried fails and thats why I had to return them or sell em on Mercari. At least I couldnt find a case that supports wireless charging, some wont even work, others fail within 5 min or less, this case does the contrary. On a bad day the charger fails but maybe is how it got placed because when I remove and place the iPhone back to the charger it works now, and it lets you know withing minutes if it dont work. So my recommendation is, if you dont mind your screen not protected then this case is the only one I recommend, like I said i dropped it on purpose and nothing happened to my screen, it has a rubber protection that if when it drops it covers the screen by hitting on the case first. Unless you hit a sharp object with force directly on screen then thats another story. Sorry to make review to long but hey when I was looking for a case on this app, i didnt even go to the store to try it out, I just felt like this is the good case, I wish someone wrote a review saying THIS CASE IS A KEEPER. If the case arrived broken thats the manufacturer and delivery company issue, thats not a 1 star never gonna buy again review. This case is not bulky, does not add tremendous weight to the iPhone, fairly slim, its basically clean all the time, no clean ups requiered, see thru on the back, looks classy compared to the others I tried, and the only case out of all I tried wireless charging only worked on this one. I dont have a single bad comment to say about it, if anything maybe cheaper price, even a $10 savings its a bargain lol...

Excellent protection without the full bulk of the defender case. Much more streamlined and trim for easy sliding in and out of your pocket.

I’ve been buying from Otterbox for a while now and I’ve been happy with every purchase, I normally never do reviews. This case is (Good) not amazing, it will definitely protect the XS Max but the clear part of the back of the case scratch’s SO easy. For $80 the back of the case scratch’s WAY too easy. But the case still gets 5 stars because it is SOLID and will PROTECT the deceive. Overall this case gets a C+ because of the price, easy scratch back, and protection.

my husband loves this case because it's not too bulky but it does protect his new phone very well. he works construction and has to have something reliable on it, this is a very high quality case and at the same time, the back of it it's clear so you can still show off your phone if you are one of those people. the price might be a little high but it is worth it.

I have owned many Otterbox cases for many different phones in the past. This case offers great protection as I am in construction management that is very important, however it isn't bulky like previous cases I have used and still looks sleek in the office or at dinner. I tried other slim cases and none of them felt like they gave me enough protection. My only complaint is the price. It was a bit pricey but so far it has lived up to that price.

The previous Otter Box I had was very bulky. This one is so much lighter and protects the charging port totally with a plug. Using the wireless charging it makes the phone much more convenient to carry.

I'm really liking this case. It's probably overpriced, but its solid. I don't think its any thicker than the Otterbox Commuter which I am a big fan of. I carried my old 6+ in one of those for several years (up until yesterday) and it never let me down. The Pursuit seems to offer a substantial degree more protection than the Commuter in a form factor that is very similar. I also bought the Armor Edge glass screen protector and it works perfectly with this case. In all honesty, I intended to buy the Commuter instead because it was half the price, but they were out of those and had these on the shelf and I wasn't about to leave the store without a case wrapped around this brand new $1,300 phone. I'm so glad I got this one instead!

Have had the case for two weeks now and is awesome protection and the strap was a plus for the bigger size. Doesn’t include screen protector and the clear may scratch easily, but overall a wonderful slim case!

Absolutely amazing, the quality is great, protect the phone in case I dropped and the best is not bulky at all! Very easy to keep on the pocket.

This case is very durable and protects the phone well. However, there are a few drawbacks. 1) Price - $79.99 at time of purchase, which is high 2) Installation/Removal - the case is difficult to install and remove from the phone 3) Visual - the clear version that I purchased scratches easily and those scratches are very visible. I wish they would have added small bumps or feet to the case to the back would be raised off the surface it is sitting on, this would have fixed this problem. Other than that, this case is great and I would purchase it again.

I’ve been a longtime defender user, I’ve gotten one for every phone for the past 7 years, I recently upgraded to the iPhone XS Max and came into the store with the intention of buying another defender, then I saw the pursuit series next to it on the rack, sales rep allowed me to try it on my phone and I was instantly sold, it never came off. It’s smaller, thinner, and more streamlined than the defender, and man does it feel good in the hand. It also fully protects and surrounds the rear camera module instead of being just a wide opening like on the defender. You will not be disappointed with this. There’s a reason it costs more than the defender and it’s so worth it if you can spare the coin.

Great case that holds up over time. I've owned several OtterBox cases, and I've never broken a phone. The rubber covering over the charging ports eventually tears off from constant usage, and there are places where you can see scratches. However, that's why I bought this case. My phone looks the same now as it did brand new almost two years ago. The only negative thing I have is that the case makes the phone a lot bulkier overall.

Really expensive for this price point on this type of case. I’m happy seems to be protecting my iPhone XS Max not too bulky.

Otterbox has been my choice for iPhone cases. When My wife and i recently upgraded to the latest iPhone, I was looking less bulk with all of the protection that Otterbox delivers. I found it. Perfect fit and protection, without hiding the aesthetics of the iPhone XS max. Got one for the wife after she wanted to borrow mine to fit in her clutch.

This case is so slim and sleek it’s easy to fit in your pocket and hold while still maintaining the practical function of protection. I’ve dropped my phone several times on pavement, tile floor, and other hard surfaces (not intentionally) each time the case has done its job and the phone has been fine.

The design of this case is great, it ensures that no part of the actual phone ever touches a relatively flat surface with its cushioned boarders. The only reason it’s not getting a 5 star review is due to how easily the plastic see through back gets scratched. Sliding the case on its back against nearly any surface will cause scratches which don’t bother me but it may for some other folks. Otherwise, it’s a great case!

I know that OtterBox cases can get quite bulky, so the Pursuit is a nice compromise (slimmer, but still protects well). Have had this case for almost a month and no issues whatsoever other than the fact that its a little hard to take off once its on, which I don't plan to do that often anyway.
