The case is very smooth, so it's easy to get in a pocket but it also will slide off things. Also, I think that I've had more issues with the phone overheating during the summer with the case on.

It isn't our first one. My wife had a pixel xl and it was still in great condition, but wanted to upgrade. I had the Pixel XL 2 and decided I would do the same even though I didn't really need to. They really do last. Storage and battery are outstanding!

Durable Clear Otterbox Symmetry Case

It is durable and allows easy manipulation of the phone's side buttons, even though covered. The case even allowed me to install an Invisible Shield on the phone's display. I have had no issues with this case.

It's a really nice size--could be even smaller--so easy to hold. Getting out of open apps or screens is much more difficult than Samsung phones. Using "notes" is harder. The screen images are definitely sharp and it takes great photos.
